Prime Network is a NMS application which will be used to monitor network devices in
the form of VNE (Virtual Network Element). VNE is nothing but virtual replication of
network element in PN. PN management will include Physical inventory, Logical
inventory and Events support. Physical inventory includes all physical details about the
network element. Logical inventory includes all logical technologies like Routing, ACL,

2. LLDP, OSPF, MPLS, Switching, etc. Events support includes syslog, traps and service
alarms. PN will manage devices using SNMP, TELNET/SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, XML etc.
The basic need for PN management is SNMP should be configured on the device.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
 Involved in coding development and code maintenance.
 Implemented all the features in line with the software functional specifications ensuring
good quality.
 Took ownership for some key features and handled all the requests and issues pertaining
to those features.
 Closely worked with the customer support team by providing solutions to the issues faced
by the customers.
 Maintaining the code quality by carrying out unit testing, functionality testing,
compatibility testing and integration testing.
