29 October 1929 is one of the most significant days in history. The market crash led to the Great Depression which was then followed by World War II. While people focus on what happened Wall Street, what was the Mafia up to? What if . . .

2. New York City. 29 October 1929.
Black Tuesday. This day plunges the world into the
Great Depression. Ivar is there to make sure that it
happens as history records. But the Shadow has
other plans.

3. Our timeline is being attacked. If the Shadow
can change six events in the past, on the same
day in different years, it will cause a Time
Tsunami and our timeline will be wiped out.
The only thing standing between us and
obliteration is: the Time Patrol

4. New York City. 29 October 1929.
Ivar arrives on Wall Street, early in the
morning, before the markets open.
Just as a mortally stabbed man fall into
his arms.

5. Before he can sort out who the man
is, gangsters show up; led by Bugsy
Siegal.

6. Siegel takes him to his boss; Meyer
Lansky.
Seems there’s a problem. Several
million dollars of the mob’s money is
missing.

7. Lansky thinks a man with mob
ties, Joe Kennedy, might be
involved. He threatens Ivar
that unless he gives up what’s
really going on, Siegal will
wipe out not just Joe
Kennedy, but his entire
family, including his son, John
F. Kennedy, who is 12 years
old.

8. New York City. 29 October 1929.
Ivar faces the decision of whether to violate
Rule One of the Time Patrol: Never tell
anyone about the Time Patrol.
The other option?
Cement boots and a trip to East River.
