Dynamic Channel Configuration Control
• Introducción
Los servicios Best Effort están compuestos por
los servicios Interactive y background.
Las velocidades de los servicios BE varian en gran
medida, por lo que es al realizarse un ajuste
dinámico de los canales de servicio se logra un uso
más eficiente de los recursos.
La funcionalidad DCCC permite realizar un ajuste
dinámico de los canales de servicio de acuerdo a
las condiciones de radio y comportamiento del
usuario que permite mejorar la calidad del servicio
y optimizar el uso de los recursos de radio.

If this parameter is set to a very large value, the call drop rate increases when UEs' data rates are decreased to the
bit rate for full coverage. If this parameter is set to a very small value, the bandwidth for the UEs whose data rates
are decreased to the bit rate for full coverage is too low. This causes the QoS to deteriorate.

The downlink full coverage rate refers to the maximum downlink service rate configured in the UTRAN when

plan. If the downlink TCP rate is limited and the current maximum downlink rate is higher than the full coverage
rate, the rate is reduced to the full coverage rate of the cell plan.

Conclusión
Se debe validar con Huawei si el feature HSUPA DCCC requiere licencia. Actualmente la
funcionalidad se encuentra activa pero no se encuentra la licencia en la RNC.
DCCC Basado en Volumen de Datos
1. Existen 4 RNC con el parámetro UlMidRateCalc/DlMidRateCalc configurado en AUTO CALC. Se
recomienda homologar toda la red en HAND APPOINT (COLAG1X, GDLPN1X, GDLPN2X,
URUC1X), se esperará el resultado de Actividad 5.
2. En dos RNC no se encuentra homologado el UlDCCCRateThd (OAX: 32 y TIJ: 128). Se
recomienda configurarlo en 64kbps (se esperará el resultado de Actividad 5).
3. [Trial] Se propone modificar el LittleRateThd de 64 a 32 kbps en RNC MXLNE1X (Posee alto
tráfico R99).
4. Se debe homologar la configuración de RB en toda la red:
 Agregar:
• RB 32kbps:14 sectores
• RB 64kbps: 114 sectores
• RB 128kbps: 177 sectores
 Remover:
• RB 144kbps: 671 sectores
• RB 256kbps: 670 sectores
• RB 384kbps: 654 sectores
Conclusión
5. [Trial] Se recomienda reducir el Middle Rate Threshold de 128 kbps a 64 kbps (UL y DL) en
RNC TEPSL1X.
 Se debe realizar también el decremento de UlDcccRateThd/DlDcccRateThd de 64 a
32kbps.

6. Se debe activar la funcionalidad en todas las RNC, DRA_THROUGHPUT_DCCC_SWITCH=ON
en 9 RNC (MXLNE1X, COLAG1X, GDLPN1X, GDLPN2X, TEPSL1X, URUCU1X, ACAPV2X,
CHPPV2X, OAXCZ1X).
7. Homologar el E2FThrouMeasPeriod a 30 en MXLNE1X y TIJPA1X.
8. [Trial] Realizar ajuste de rates HSUPA en URUCU1X. Posee 8 rates activos (16, 64, 128, 144,
256, 384, 608, 1280). Desactivar los rates en color rojo.
Conclusión
DCCC Basado en LDR
9. [Trial] Homologar el GBR UL y DL para el servicio Interactive en HERHE1X (8 a 64 kbps).
10. [Trial] Reducir el GBR DL para el servicio Background en RNC TOLJM2X de 64 a 32kbps (alta
congestión de códigos).

11. Activar funcionalidad en TIJPA1X y GDLPN1X (BEQosPerform=ON).
