Work is an eternal principle that we learn from God and Jesus Christ. We are commanded to work to provide for our families and share responsibilities. Parents work together to support their family spiritually and physically. Children should contribute to the family work. The most important work is within our own homes. We can enjoy our work by helping each other and finding work that is meaningful. Through work we can gain blessings and success. Work brings purpose and rest, while idleness is condemned. As we work, we become like God and further his work of bringing eternal life to all people.
