The Syrian Arab Army continued operations against armed groups in Damascus and its countryside, Homs, Aleppo, and Hama, killing several leaders of armed groups and destroying weapons caches and convoys. The army also foiled infiltration and bombing attempts. Meanwhile, the Syrian government agreed to allow UN investigators to investigate alleged chemical weapons attacks, and President Assad said Syria will not be a Western puppet and accused countries of politicizing chemical weapons accusations. Foreign Minister Lavrov also called for normal conditions for the UN investigation.

Syrian Arab Army Continued hi progress in Damascus and its countryside, where the tack control of the
node (Zamalka) traffic completely, and found a tunnel near the mosque (Al-omari) in the neighborhood
of (Qaboun), and destroyed the rocket launcher in (AinTarma), and (chiffonah) in (Duma) the army killed
a leaders of "battalions and brigades" and its elements and wounded others, "Yassin Hamada" the
leader of "Brigades shohdaa Duma" and "AyhamKahil" the leader of "Lewa Islam, and also the army
spent in (Maliha) on a car loaded with weapons, ammunition and missiles in (Barzeh) and killed an
armed elements in (Harasta), and seized a machine guns and automatic rifles in (Irbeen), in (Adra) a unit
army clashed with gunmen at factory “Saar”.
An military source said that the Syrian army spent the gunmen from Arab nationalities, including Iraqi
“GhazwanAlsusi” and Palestinian “Faisal Jmhan” in (Husseiniya), and destroyed the headquarters of
militants, including materiel, and in the town of (Deir Al Salman) and killed two leaders of armed groups
and their elements, including “Youssef Abdel BadiMuhsin” , “Musa Apache” , “Ibraham A-ter”.
Shells near the residence of international inspectors……
Media sources said that the gunmen targeted by homemade rocket school “IbnKhaldoun” near the
“Four Seasons Hotel”, which they are resides in Damascus.
Citizens were injured by mortar shells fell near the geometric Institute in the area of customs and
Hassan Mosque in (Abu Romana) area in Damascus, in addition to material damage in place.
Army continues his operations in Homs……
In Homs, troops have seized on a compound trade “A-Waled” in the neighborhood of (JouretShiah) after
the elimination of all gunmen inside it, while frustrated explosive device was detonated near a petrol
station, also continued its operations in the (Talbesa) and (Bab Hood), and caused a heavy losses to
armed groups in the arms and lives, and destroyed a convoy of cars in southern village.
The army units arrested 12 militants in the market area in (tlklkh) and seized guns warship mechanism,
machine guns, grenades and a variety of ammunition in their possession, and foiled attempt to blow up
a car in the area (Kbebat) in countryside of Homs, and also infiltration attempt from (Al-Dar Al-Kabera)
to neighborhood (Al-Mouhajren) in Homs.
Attack and attempts to infiltrate into Aleppo………
Syrian army in Aleppo and its countryside has been faced to try of attack on the hospital 9Canadi), and
confronted by gunmen tried to infiltrate from the district of (Aqaba) to the Great Umayyad Mosque in

2. the old city of Aleppo, and the neighborhoods of (Salah din) and (Zahrawi), and targeted weapons,
ammunition and vehicles by gunmen in (Khan Al-Asal) , (Neirab) and the town (Khanasser), and killed
gunmen in (Alcastelo) , villages (Mayer) and (Mansoura) in the countryside of Aleppo.
Missile launcher of "Jabhat Al-Nasra” in Al-Qaab.
In Hama army units destroyed a headquarter of the militants "Jabhat AL-Nasra" contains the launcher
rockets and explosive belts in Al-Qaab area , and targeting other headquarters in the village of( Jibreen)
in countryside of Hama, and killing militants in the towns of (Hawija) South and (Hawija) North.
An terrorists Jordanians in Daraa .. And narcotic pills in Sweida….
A military source spoke about the deaths in the ranks of the militants, "the Islamic holy battalion" in
(Noua), including "Assem Abdel Rahim” and "Mohammed Abdul Salam al-Masri" and "Abdel-
MoneimAwadMufalana" and "Ibrahim Asalkhadda" of Jordanian citizenship.
The competent authorities seized on Sunday Pullman loaded with a quantity of up to half a ton of
narcotic pills, there type "kptagon" in (Al-Souyda).
The source said that the pills were in secret caches inside the Pullman seats and in premium air
conditioners.
Targeting the convoy of governor of Hama….
Terrorists assassinated Dr." Anas Abdul Razak Al-Naem" the governor of Hama, by a terrorist car bomb
in the (Jerajmh) neighborhood of Hama, and also the attack led to injured 7 civilians, including 3
children.
UN-Syrian agreement
An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants stated that the Syrian government
agreed with the United Nations during a meeting between Walid al-Moallem, Minister of Foreign Affairs
with Angela Kin United Nations High commissioner of disarmament issues, agreed on a common
understanding that enters into force immediately, allowing the UN investigate team to investigate
allegations of using chemical weapons in Damascus countryside on August 22, to be coordinated with
the Syrian government about the date and time of the team's visit to places that have been agreed on.

3. President Al-Assad.. Syria isn’t a Western Puppet
President Bashar al-Assad pointed out in a message to the politiciansin the world that the dream of
making Syria a western Puppet will not be achieved
He said in an interview with the Russian newspaper Izvestia that the attempts of military intervention in
Syria failed as the Great countries are able to wage war, but are they able to win?
Regarding the use of chemical weapons, President al-Assad said: “The accusations against the Syrian
army for using chemical weapons in the area controlled by insurgents are absolutely politicized
comebecause of the advances of Syrian Arab Army.How can any country hit a place by chemical weapon
or any weapon of mass destruction in an area in contact with its troops
Pointing out that what was done by America and the West and some other countries two days ago, is a
disregard the minds and lack of respect for public opinion, no one in the world, let alone a super state
launches an accusation and then collect evidence on it.
President Al-Assad said that what we expect from Geneva2 conference is starting to put pressure on
countries which support terrorism in Syria by stopping arms smuggling and stop sending foreign
terrorists, pointing to a positive shift in the international arena, assome of the countries that stood
strongly against Syria began to change its position, and other countriesactually began to start relations
with Syria.
Lavrov .. Provide normal conditions for an international investigation into Syria
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrovdeclared in a call with his American counterpart John Kerry, his surprise of
the testimonies of some representatives of the U.S. administrationthat it has proofs of the involvement
of the Syrian government at the incident of East Goutaat Damascus countryside, assuming the use of
chemical weapons, he called according to the Foreign Ministry statement to refrain from forcibly put
pressure on Damascus and not to obey the provocations, but to seek to contribute to provide normal
conditions to enable the expert mission of the United Nations to conduct precise objective and impartial
investigations directly in the sites.
"Syrian opposition" calls on Israel to intervene

4. The Israeli newspaper “YediotAhronot” reported that a senior official in the "Syrian opposition" called
on Israel to intervene to save Syria and its people, the official added, "If Israel wants to prove its good
intentions of the Syrian people it has to urge the international community to intervene quickly across an
