and organizingthemcanbe difficult.Followingisaverybrief summaryof what the Bible declareswill
happeninthe endtimes.
Before the Tribulation Rapture—The Rapture iswhenJesusreturnstothe skyand takesupthe
believers,deadandalive,sotheywill nothave tosufferGod'swrathduringthe Tribulation.Theyare
judgedatthe BemaSeatof Christ,rewardedfortheirgoodworks,andgivenglorifiedbodies.The
marriage supperof the Lamb will alsotake place.There are no precursorsto the Rapture;itcould
happenat anytime. Afterthe Rapture the worldpreparesforthe Tribulation.
We can readfrom 1 Thessalonians4:13-18, “Brothers andsisters, we do not want youto be
uninformedaboutthose whosleep in death, sothat you do not grieve like the rest ofmankind,who
have no hope.14
For we believe that Jesus diedand rose again,andso we believethat God will bring
with Jesusthose who have fallenasleep in him.15
Accordingto the Lord’s word, we tell you that we
who are still alive,who are left until the comingofthe Lord, will certainlynot precede those whohave
fallenasleep.16
For the Lord himselfwill come down fromheaven, with a loudcommand,withthe
voice ofthe archangel andwith the trumpet call of God,andthe dead in Christwill rise first. 17

that, we who are still alive andare left will be caughtup together with them in the cloudsto meet the
Lord in the air. And sowe will be with the Lord forever. 18

we will all be changed— 52
ina flash,inthe twinklingofaneye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet

Whenthe perishablehasbeen
clothedwith the imperishable,andthemortal with immortality,thenthe sayingthat is written will
come true: “Deathhas been swallowedup invictory.”.At the judgmentseatof Christ,these believers
will be rewardedforgoodworksandfaithful service duringtheirtime onearthorwill lose rewards,but
not eternal life,forlackof service andobedience Aswe canlearnfrom 2 Corinthians5:10, “Forwe must
all appear before the judgmentseat ofChrist,so that each of us may receive what is due us forthe
thingsdone whilein the body,whether goodor bad”.
The End Times- Tribulation—Thiscanbe broadlystatedasthree timeframes. First3.5years. The
Antichrist(the beast) will come intopowerandwill signacovenantwithIsrael forsevenyears aswe
learnfromDaniel 9:27, “He will confirma covenant with manyfor one ‘seven.’ In the middleof the
‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrificeand offering.Andat the temple[c]
he will set up an abomination
that causes desolation,until theend that is decreed is poured out onhim”.This seven-yearperiodof
time isknownas the “tribulation.”Duringthe tribulation,therewill be terrible wars,famines,plagues,
and natural disasters.Godwill be pouringoutHiswrathagainstsin,evil,andwickedness.The tribulation
will include the appearance of the fourhorsemenof the Apocalypse,andthe sevenseal,trumpet,and
bowl judgments.

2. Abouthalfwaythroughthe sevenyears,the Antichristwill breakthe peace covenantwithIsraeland
make war againstit.The Antichristwill commit“the abominationof desolation”andsetup an image of
himself tobe worshippedinthe Jerusalemtemple asstatedinabove passage in Daniel 9:27.We can also
learnthisindetail from 2 Thessalonians2:3-10. “Don’tlet anyone deceive you inany way, forthat day
will not come until the rebellionoccurs and the man oflawlessness[a]
is revealed,the mandoomed to
destruction.4
He will opposeand will exalthimselfover everything that is calledGodor is worshiped,
so that he sets himselfup inGod’stemple, proclaiminghimselftobe God”( 2 Thessalonians2:3-4).
The second half of the tribulationisknownas“the greattribulation”
At the endof the seven-yeartribulation,the Antichristwilllaunchafinal attackon Jerusalem,
culminatinginthe battle of Armageddon.JesusChristwill return,destroythe Antichristandhis armies,
and cast themintothe lake of fire.We can learnof the defeatof the Beast whenwe read Revelation
19:11-21. Christwill thenbindSataninthe Abyssfor 1000 years – also referredasthe Millennial
Kingdomof Christ - and He will rule Hisearthlykingdomforthisthousand-yearperiod.“Heseizedthe
dragon,that ancientserpent, who is the devil,or Satan,andboundhim for a thousandyears. 3
He
threw him intothe Abyss,and locked and sealedit over him,to keep himfrom deceivingthe nations
anymore until the thousandyears were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
(Revelation20:2-3).
At the endof the thousandyears,Satanwill be released,defeatedagain,andthencastintothe lake of
fire foreternity:“Andthedevil,who deceived them, was throwninto the lake of burningsulfur,where
the beast and the falseprophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and nightfor ever and
ever. (Revelation20:10). Christthenjudgesall unbelieversatthe greatwhite throne judgment,casting
themall intothe lake of fire.Christwill thenusherinanew heavenandnew earthand the New
Jerusalem—theeternal dwellingplace of believers.There willbe nomore sin,sorrow,ordeath as we
can learnfromRevelation21–22.
