Week 1 of the International Fantasy Football League (IFFL) featured many dramatic come-from-behind victories. Week 2 features 6 matchups between teams with 1-0 and 0-1 records looking to start the season 2-0 or avoid falling to 0-2. The top matchup is between the 1-0 Mighty Cyclones and defending champions Remis Island. Other key games include the 0-1 Bowl Bound Mavericks visiting the 0-1 Russian Hackers, the 1-0 Shanghai Wang hosting the 0-1 Procters, and the 1-0 Big Dawgs visiting the 0-1 Men of Steel. The IFFL season is shaping up to be highly competitive.
Narrated Business Proposal for the Philadelphia Eaglescamrynascott12
Slide 1:
Welcome, and thank you for joining me today. We will explore a strategic proposal to enhance parking and traffic management at Lincoln Financial Field, aiming to improve the overall fan experience and operational efficiency. This comprehensive plan addresses existing challenges and leverages innovative solutions to create a smoother and more enjoyable experience for our fans.
Slide 2:
Picture this: It’s a crisp fall afternoon, driving towards Lincoln Financial Field. The atmosphere is electric—tailgaters grilling, fans in Eagles jerseys creating a sea of green and white. The air buzzes with camaraderie and anticipation. You park, join the throng, and make your way to your seat. The stadium roars as the Eagles take the field, sending chills down your spine. Each play is a thrilling dance of strategy and skill. This is what being an Eagles fan is all about—the joy, the pride, and the shared experience.
Slide 3:
But now, the day is marred by frustration. The excitement wanes as you struggle to find a parking spot. The congestion is overwhelming, and tempers flare. The delays mean you miss the pre-game excitement, the tailgate camaraderie, and even the opening kick-off. After the game, the joy of victory or the shared solace of defeat is overshadowed by the stress of navigating out of the parking lot. The gridlock, honking horns, and endless waiting drain the energy and joy from what should have been an unforgettable experience.
Our proposal aims to eliminate these frustrations, ensuring that from arrival to departure, your experience is extraordinary. Efficient parking and smooth traffic flow are key to maintaining the high spirits and excitement that make game days special.
Slide 4:
The Philadelphia Eagles are not just a premier NFL team; they are an integral part of the community, hosting games, concerts, and various events at Lincoln Financial Field. Our state-of-the-art stadium is designed to provide a world-class experience for every attendee. Whether it's the thrill of game day, the excitement of a live concert, or the camaraderie of community events, we pride ourselves on delivering a fan-first experience and maintaining operational excellence across all our activities. Our commitment to our fans and community is unwavering, and we continuously strive to enhance every aspect of their experience, ensuring they leave with unforgettable memories.
Slide 5:
Recent trends show an increasing demand for efficient event logistics. Our customer feedback has consistently highlighted frustrations with parking and traffic. Surveys indicate that a significant number of fans are dissatisfied with the current parking situation. Comparisons with other venues like Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center reveal that we lag in terms of parking efficiency and convenience. These insights underscore the urgent need for innovation to meet and exceed fan expectations.

WEEK 2 IFFL GAMES: 9/10/19 - 9/16/19
Mighty Cyclones @ Remis Island
Bowl Bound Mavericks @ Russian Hackers
Bleeding Blue @ Jaymin
Shanghai Wang @ Procters
Big Dawgs @ Men of Steel
Lonely Star @ StormyOz
WEEK 1 IFFL RESULTS
148 Big Dawgs @ Bleeding Blue 125
126 Men of Steel @ Jaymin 135
120 Mighty Cyclones @ Bowl Bound Mavericks 114
101 StormOz @ Procters 91
145 Remis Island @ Russian Hackers 112
101 Lonely Star @ Shanghai Wang 136
The IFFL’s Kickoff Weekend gushed over with an abundance of thrills and spills! All 6 of last week’s games resulted in come-from-
behind wins. In 4 of those games the eventual victor was given less than a 35% chance of coming back to win at some point during
their respective games.
2. 4 of this week’s 6 games will field four 1-0-0 teams aiming to remain undefeated against four 0-1-0 teams who are in desperate need of
a win to avoid dropping 2 games back from what could easily turn out to be five 2-0-0 teams- Bleeding Blue, 0-1 @ Jaymin, 1-0,
Shanghai Wang, 1-0 @ Procters 0-1, Big Dawgs, 1-0 @ Men of Steel, 0-1, Lonely Star, 0-1 @ StormyOz, 1-0.
1 of this week’s 6 games will be versus two 0-1-0 teams, namely the UK’s Bowl Bound Mavericks at the Russian Hackers. The BB
Mavs are gunning for their 3rd consecutive victory in their series with the Russian Hackers. The Russian Hackers are trying to avoid
going 0-2 for a 3rd-straight season.
This week’s featured game is between two 1-0-0 teams, Mighty Cyclones at Remis Island. The Mighty Cyclones have an ax to grind,
having never beaten the defending two-time world champions in 3 tries. Remis Island could care less.
QUICK HITS
3 of the current top-5 ranked teams did notmake the playoffs lastyear- #1 Big Dawgs,#4 Jaymin, #5 Mighty Cyclones…Going into last
week’s season openers, the Mighty Cyclones were ranked 11th and StormOZ #12. Both won their respective season-openers
Week 1 produced…
6 come-from-behind victories
3 of 6 teams who made the playoffs in 2018 lost their season-openers
3 of 6 teams who did not made the playoffs in 2018 won their season-openers
Home teams were– 2-4-0
Road teams were– 4-2-0
Week 2’s six games include:
6 games between different nations
6 games divisional matchups
1 game between two 1-0-0 teams- Mighty Cyclones @ Remis Island
4 games between 1-0-0 team versus 0-1-0 team (All four 1-0-0 teams currently underdogs for Week 2)
1 game between two 0-1-0 teams- Bowl Bound Mavericks @ Russian Hackers
6 games between 2018 playoff team vs. non-playoff team
0 games between two 2018 playoff teams
0 games between two 2018 non-playoff teams
Here’s a look at this week’s six IFFL games…
#5 MIGHTY CYCLONES AT #2 REMIS ISLAND- The Mighty Cyclones’ roster resembles a post-battle zone more than a fantasy roster.
Their best receivers, Tyreek Hill and AJ Green are out indefinitely and QB Patrick Mahomes is fighting through a gimpy ankle.
Furthermore, Cleveland’s defense and wideouts Zay Jones and Marquis Lee were all total busts and have since been cut. Regardless,
the Mighty Cyclones have a good, but not great, core of players, including DeSean Jackson, who was in a reserve role in last week.
Plus, their base-starters appear to have more favorable matchups than Remis Island does. Speaking of the devil, Remis Island looks
like they’ve picked up nicely where they left off from last season. 7 of their 9 starters, including Austin Ekeler (38), Amari Cooper (22)
and the Vikings defense (16) who all put up double-digit points in their season opening win over Russia’s Hackers. Even though they
have some tough matchups this week, that really didn’t seem to matter in the past, and based on their track record it shouldn’t matter
now.
#9 BOWL BOUND MAVERICKS AT #10 RUSSIAN HACKERS- Both teams are fighting tooth-and-nail to keep from digging
themselves in a deep hole in the highly competitive Four Winds Division. Why the BB Mavericks had such a tough time last week
against the injury-riddled Mighty Cyclones remains a mystery. They have what is arguably the IFFL’s most deep and dangerous
receiving corps- Woods, Thielen, Lockett, Brown, Cobb, and Watkins. It’s a literal list who’s who of wideouts, one that many fantasy
football team owners would sacrifice their first born male child to have. Not only that, they’ve also got a great pair of QBs in Brees and
Goff, and drama queen, RB Zeke-E. On the flip side, you’ve got the Russian Hackers, who last week looked like they were going to
break away with the lead at any given moment against two-time defending world champions, Remis Island. Yet, destiny decided
otherwise. Like so many other fantasy football teams, you gotta wonder why the Russian Hackers’ good fortune came to such an
instantaneous screeching halt, especially when 6 of their 9 starters finished with double-digit points. The Russian Hackers do have
depth and some minor tweaking mighthelp against the Bowl Bound Mavs. Matching their projected numbers probablywon’tbe enough,
though, so scoring touchdowns might be their only hope.
#7 BLEEDING BLUE AT #4 JAYMIN- Bleeding Blue comes in licking their wounds after getting a beat-down from a strong Big Dawgs
team.Yet, all is not lost. For the mostpart, their team did rather well, regardless of Freeman and Rudolph deciding to take the day off.
In all, they have a good roster, both among starters , including Rivers and Rodgers and their entire receiving corps; and among their
reserves, including RB Chris Thompson. Like a chess master, Bleeding Blue will need to do some flawless shuffling to put the right
players in the right positions to give them a fighting chance. In the past, the Jaymin were feared for their ensemble of receiving corps.
This year, at least in the early going, the Jaymin are getting the job done on the ground. In Week 1, Bell, Henry and Ingram each
recorded 22+ points, ultimatelyamassing 73 of their 135-point totals. In addition, all 3 backs combined for 5 touchdowns (3 rushing, 2
receiving). This game could easily go either way. Both team owners have tremendous tenacity when facing stronger teams.
Collectively, they have 7 winning seasons and 6 post-seasons between them. With that, we should see this game go right down to the
wire!
3. #3 SHANGHAI WANG AT #12 PROCTERS- Shanghai Wang is coming off an incredible victory over Lonely Star. At one point in last
week’s game, Shanghai Wang was given less than a 30% chance of winning. Yet, they stormed back off the legs of running backs
Mack and White and the arm of Deshaun Watson. In all, 7 of their 9 starters registered double-digit points, including Mack’s 25 and
Watson’s 36 points. About the only real disappointmentwas Devante Adams, who scored just7 of his projected 17 points. But, give the
guy time.As good as he is,you justknow it’ll be a matter of time before he explodes. This week a majorityof Shanghai Wang’s starters
will be on the road, but even then, most are situations where their players could still put up some hefty numbers. For the Procters, last
week was a total disaster. Here, they had victory all but assured, yet they let it slip right through their fingers. 6 of their 9 starters failed
to match, much less surpass their projected numbers. The Ravens defense and Dalvin Cook did really well, but that’s about it. What’s
really nerve-wrecking for the Procters is their reserves are horrid, where not a single backup scored double-digit points in the season
opener. It isn’t time to hit the panic button, just yet. However, unless they start the process immediately of tossing the dead weight
overboard and can extract some decent talent from the waiver wire, they could very well be taking on the role as spoiler versus
contender midway through the season.
#1 BIG DAWGS AT #8 MEN OF STEEL- The Big Dawgs look unstoppable. Last week, 8 of their 9 starters put up 10-plus points, with
the exception being the Chargers’ defense. Wentz tossed 3 TDs and all three of the Big Dawgs’ starting wideouts, Allen, Godwin and
Ridley notched 1 TD, each. Surprisingly. RBs Kamara and Lindsey failed to reach the End Zone. Now, don’t fool yourselves into
thinking the Big Dawgs’ fortune was a fluke. Rather, consider it a glimpse of coming attractions. The Men of Steel are coming off a
heartbreaking loss in Week 1 to the Jaymin, where the game kept shifting back and forth in each other’s favor. Most of the Men of
Steel’s starting players were productive, and especially their featured backs, McCaffrey (42) and Carson (23) who combined for 65 of
the Men of Steel’s 126 points. However, once things shifted to the Sunday Night game between Pittsburgh and New England, that’s
where things took a turn for the worse for last year’s 2nd ranked team, as 3 of their players, Roethlisberger, Boswell and the Steelers
defense combined for just 13 points. Last season, the Men of Steel targeted Pittsburgh players and it paid off in a big way, although if
their loss last week is any indicator of future events, there will be no déjà vu for the Steelers nor for the Men of Steel.
#11 LONELY STAR AT #6 STORMOZ- What was supposed to be a jubilant debute in the IFFL for Lonely Star turned out to be a
disaster, and it would have been a even worse had it not been for Lamar Jackson’s 42-point, Alshon Jeffry’s 21-point and Saquan
Barkley’s 17-point performaces, although Barkley failed to score a single touchdown. Had he done so, Lonely Star might have been
able to pull out the victory. But ‘mighthaves’ always amount to nothing. When all was said and done, 6 of Lonely Star’s 9 starters failed
to record 10 or more points, with the worst being the Jaguars defense who ended up with zero points. Yet, hope springs eternal for
Lonely Star. 5 of their 7 reserves piled up double-digit points, 3 surpassing 20-plus points, with Detroit’s TJ Hockenson and his 25
points leading the charge. Is StormOZ’s team owner Joshua Mann a genius or is he the luckiest person in all of fantasy football? Since
joining the IFFL in 2017, week in and week out, StormOZ was mostly the underdog and in some cases, a heavy underdog. Yet,
someway, somehow, theyjustkeep winning. Even this season,as early going as it is, we see this oddity, this mystery continue. Going
into this season,StormOZwas ranked dead-lastand were an 8-pointunderdog going into last week’s contest versus the Procters. But
surprise, surprise, they did it again! How long can StormOZ continue to beat the odds? Will it all come to an abrupt halt this week; next
week; never? Stay tuned.
