OVERVIEW
After failing to reach the playoffs two years ago, the United Kingdom’s Gordon Dedman and his Men of Steel got back on their winning
track last season, and in a huge way. The Men of Steel rode the backs of Gordon and Conner to their first Seven Seas Division title with
a 9-4-0 record, both good enough to earn the #2 spot; all that despite drafting 11th out of twelve teams. This year, the Men of Steel will
select 5th overall. Another positive is the Men of Steel enter the 2019 season with the league’s 2nd easiest strength of schedule (.487),
which should enhance their chances of reaching the playoffs for the 4th time in their franchise’s 5-year history. 8 of their 13 games will
be against non-playoff teams, including 3 of their first 4 games and all 3 of their final games.

OVERVIEW
Mexico’s Jorge Boada and Bleeding Blue come into this season is the only team in the IFFL who has made the playoffs in each of the
league’s first four years. By looking at last year’s statistics, one can’t help but wonder how Bleeding Blue achieved such a feat. They
scored the league’s 5th fewest points, they scored the 3rd fewest touchdowns, they had no top-20 wide receiver, and besides Christian
McCaffrey, all the top-ranked players they did have on their roster ranked either 9th or 10th among players at their respective positions.
Bleeding Blue will enter this season with the league’s 4th softest schedule. Only 5 of their 13 games are versus playoff teams. 4 of their
first 6 games will be against non-playoff teams. In addition, only 1 of their last 5 opponents made the playoffs last season.

OVERVIEW
For China’s Hui Guo and the Jaymin, the lack of a quality quarterback, tight end and running backs throughout the 2018 campaign, led
to the Jaymin missing the post-season for the second time in the last 3 years. You’ll note that the Jaymin won the IFFL’s World Bowl I in
2015. Last year they closed out the season with a 7-6-0 record, matching three other teams, but ultimately missing the post-season in
the tie-breaker process. The Jaymin will have their hands full this upcoming season having to face the league’s 4th most difficult
schedule, which includes 8 games versus playoff teams and 9 games against +.500 teams. 7 of their last 9 games will be versus +.500
teams, consisting of all 6 of last year’s playoff teams, including the final 3 games.

OVERVIEW
Since the USA’s Berk Wiley and the Big Dawgs joined the league four years ago, two of those seasons were in intern roles. In both
those years as an interim team owner, Mr. Wiley was unable to reverse the damage created by the two former team owners he
replaced. Thus, the Big Dawgs failed to reach the playoffs both those years (’15, ’18). In the two years the Big Dawgs came in from
start-to-finish, they made the playoffs both seasons including a World Bowl III appearance in 2017. This year, the Big Dawgs are back
in the thick of things from the very start. And what better opportunity to get things back on the path to success than landing the #2 draft
spot? Still, all is not so bright, as the Big Dawgs will have to face the league’s 2nd most difficult schedule (.564). 10 of their upcoming13
games will be against +.500 teams. 3 of their first 4 games will be versus playoff teams, including #1 Shanghai Wang (Wk. 4) and #2
Men of Steel (Wk. 2). Things won’t get any easier, either, at least not in the first half of this season, as we find last year’s worst-ranked
team having to compete against 6 different +.500 teams in their first 7 games.

football. After drafting 6th out of 12 teams, Shanghai Wang finished their first season 10-3-0 and earned the #1 seed going into last
year’s playoffs. This season, they will select 10th. Shanghai Wang’s good fortune should continue as they have league’s easiest
strength of schedule (.476). They will start the 2019 campaign with 3 of their first 4 games being against -.500 teams and close out the
season with their final 4 games being versus non-playoff teams, including 3 games against -.500 teams.

OVERVIEW
In Australia’s Joshua Mann and StormOZ’s first two years in the IFFL, they managed to walk away with the 2nd overall draft pick in
2017 when they won the Fire & Ice Division; and last season, when they were fortunate enough to capture the 1st overall selection.
With that top pick, they chose Todd Gurley, who single-handedly carried StormOZ all the way to World Bowl IV before succumbing to
Canada’s Remis Island. This year, they draft dead-last out of 12 teams. Yet, hope springs eternal as StormOZ will face the league’s 3rd
easiest strength of schedule (.577). Even though 7 of their 13 games will be against +.500 teams, 6 of last their 8 games are against
non-playoff teams, 3 of which posted losing records last season.

5th Season
8. OVERVIEW
Former-NFL offensive lineman Cory Procter and his Procters have never reached the post-season in their first four tries. Nor have they
ever drafted any higher than 6th. For the second year in a row, the Procters will be drafting 7th. The Procters closed out last season
with no top-10 quarterback, no top-20 wide receiver and no top-10 tight end. Something’s gotta give, because now they will be facing
the league’s most difficult schedule (.577). Coming out of the gates this season, the Procters will have to compete against last year’s
top-4 teams within their first 6-game stretch. Likewise, their final 4 games will be versus teams who reached the post-season, last year.

5th Season
OVERVIEW
The United Kingdom’s Jason Ruth and the Bowl Bound Mavericks are gunning for their 3rd-straight playoff appearance. In their past
two years, they entered each post-season as the #5 seed. In the past three drafts, the Bowl Bound Mavericks have utilized their 1st
round selections on running backs, namely Alvin Kamara (’18), Marshawn Lynch (’17) and Ezekiel Elliott (’16). In this year’s draft, the
Bowl Bound Mavs will choose 3rd overall, which is the best position they’ve ever been in. Schedule wise, they should have a rather
easy go of it in the first half of the season. Only 5 of their 13 games will be versus playoff teams. 5 of their first 8 games will be against
non-playoff teams. However, 5 of their last 6 games will be versus teams who ended last season with winning records. In event the BB
Mavericks hope to take things to the next level, it will be those last 6 games that will ultimately tell the tale.

GRIDIRON GOOSE
MIGHTY CYCLONES
3RD PLACE FOUR WINDS DIVISION
NFL Analyst/Entrusted NFL Media Member
Pineville, Louisiana, United States of America
NFL Team: Dallas Cowboys
2018: 7-6-0
13. All-time: 24-28-0
5th Season
OVERVIEW
Even though the Mighty Cyclones have never drafted lower than 7th, their past teams have always struggled miserably coming out of
the gate: 2-4-0 (’18), 2-4-0 (’17), 1-2-0 (’16), 2-6-0 (’15). Just as bad is these past two seasons ended in disaster. In 2017, the Mighty
Cyclones went into the final 3 games resting at a comfortable 6-4-0. All they needed to do was win just 1 of those 3 games. Instead,
they lost all 3 matchups in what could be best described as a nuclear meltdown. Fast forward to the final week of the 2018 season. All
that stood between them and the playoffs were the Russian Hackers. Again, they choked. Last season was especially bitter because
they missed making the post-season in the tie-breaker format by a mere 5 points. Clearly, the Mighty Cyclones have to start out strong.
Not only that, they need to take care of business within their divisional games. That is a lot easier said than done, especially when you
look at what the Mighty Cyclones have to face, schedule wise. 4 of their first 6 games and 3 of their last games will be against teams
who made last year’s playoffs.

MIKHAIL REZAKOV
RUSSIAN HACKERS
4TH PLACE FOUR WINDS DIVISION
Power Engineer
Klimovsk, Moscow Oblast, Russia
Hometown: Zheleznodorozhnyy, Moskovskaya Oblast', Russia
2018: 6-7-0
All-time: 9-16-1
3rd Season
OVERVIEW
Russia’s Mikhail Rezakov and his Russian Hackers are coming off their best year yet, finishing last season with a 6-7-0 record. They
did so by winning 6 of their last 10 games after starting the 2018 campaign with at a dismal 0-3-0. Mr. Rezakov and the Russian
Hackers showed exceptional grit by taking down the USA’s Mighty Cyclones in the final game of last season, a victory that bumped the
Mighty Cyclones out of the playoff picture. This will be the Hackers second time in their three-year history that they have the 6th overall
pick. Last year, they drafted 9th, of which they selected Kameer Hunt, who scored 14 combined touchdowns in 11 games before getting
canned for domestic violence. Yet, for all of their recent success, the Russian Hackers have an awfully tough hill to climb going into this
upcoming season. 10 of their 13 games will be against +.500 teams, including 6 of their first 7 games, 4 of which made the post-season
last year. Moreover, 6 of the Russian Hackers’ last 8 games will be against teams who made the post-season, last year.
Q & A WITH RUSSIA’S MIKHAIL REZAKOV
(On when Mihail first became an NFL fan and when he first competed in fantasy football)
“My first season from draft till Super Bowl, when I understand all rules, was 2013. First fantasy game I played in was 2014, so I’ve only
finished my” rookie contract” with football; lol!”
(On what was it about the Chicago Bears that encouraged Mikhail to become a fan?
“I’ve been a Blackhawks fan since 1995, so when I began to hate soccer, especially Russian soccer, I tried to find a new sport. I can’t
watch all of the NHL games or baseball, so I chose football and a team from the Blackhawks' city, Chicago. Later, I learned history, and
watched the ‘85 season, I like hard hits, defense and so on, so I fell in love in the old-school Bears, and also Urlacher, Briggs and Lovie
Smith on the team.”
(On if Mikhail ever played organized tackle-football, and if so, which position?
“Never, I came to football very late. I have a child, wife, full time job, so can't find free time for training. I played flag football a couple of
time but again; no free time - no trainings - no games.”
(On which field of engineering Mikhail specializes in.)
“I'm an electrical engineer. I specialize in power security systems design. I work for Eleron.ru, and we are part of a government
organization Rosatom.ru. So I deliver 220/380 volts to security systems in army or nuclear objects. Also, outdoor and indoor lighting,
emergency power systems and so on.”
(On how Mikhail feels to be representing Russia against six other nations in the IFFL competition.)
“It's great! It’s a way to learn how dedicated other fans are in fantasy football. Here [in Russia], almost every fan knows a lot of,
because we haven't leagues with co-workers, teammates or housewives (Smile). If we play, we play in hardcore leagues, with a
division system or strong dynasty, with 11-players IDP, contracts and so on. But, for me in fantasy, it's about communication, so I hope
I will find good guys to speak with here [IFFL]. I also like winning!”
(More about Mikhail.)
“I'm atheist, I like junk food (fast food, etc.), good, dark beer. Russian Imperial Stout is my favorite sort of beer, You can find it in craft
beer shops around the world, from different breweries, but usually it's perfect, hard-hitting beer; lol! I’m trying to play playsstation4 when
I have free time. I cut all my other hobbies when I came to football. I'm really not political or a music or cinema kind of guy. I enjoy
watching TV shows with my wife. Boston Legal is our favorite (Smile). If any fans have any questions about Russia or ‘Da Bearz - just
ask, I will be glad to answer. Good luck to everybody!
