The conference is being held at The Kensington Hotel, 3500 South State
Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48108 next to Briarwood Mall. Visit
www.kcourtaa.com. Special overnight room rate of $102 has been
arranged at Kensington Hotel and Holiday Inn Express (adjacent to
Kensington Hotel). The special conference room rates will be available
until April 27, 2016. Overnight accommodations are to be arranged by the
registrant. Special rates are only available when registering by phone, not
when registering on-line. For reservations please call the hotels directly
(both have the same number) at 1-800-344-7829. Please indicate that you
are attending the Facets of Pediatric Nursing Care Conference for special
conference rates. The Kensington Hotel and Holiday Inn Express are
located within walking distance to shopping areas and many restaurants
and are within minutes of the beautiful University of Michigan campus.
For your comfort we recommend dressing in layers, since it is difficult to
regulate the room temperature to please everyone.

Conference Description
This conference is designed to bring together professionals who want to

Dr. Cynda Hylton Rushton is the Anne and
George L. Bunting Professor of Clinical
Ethics and Professor of Nursing and
Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University
and the Berman Institute of Bioethics. She is the Co-Chair of the
Johns Hopkins Hospital Ethics Committee.
A clinician, educator, researcher and advocate for compassionate
health care with over 30 years of nursing experience, focusing on
clinical ethics, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as integrated
organizational change and ethical leadership. She has devoted
much of her career developing individual and system strategies to
transform moral distress into moral resilience.
