WOMEN EMPLOYMENT IN LATVIA: THE EFFECT OF FLEXICURITY PRINCIPLES INTEGRATED I...Agnese Vaivade
Main research question:
Whether flexicurity increased during economic crisis?
Whether flexibility increased during economic crisis?
- Increase in part-time and fixed-term employment
Whether the part-time employment has increased
because of substitution for full-time employment?
- Involuntary part-time share
Darba tirgus elastdrošības koncepcija ir jauna pieeja nodarbinātības veicināšanai. Tomēr šobrīd trūkst metodes, ar kuru palīdzību šo elastdrošību novērtēt. Tā vietā tiek izmantotu daudz indikatoru salīdzinājums, pēc kuriem viennozīmīgus secinājumus veikt ir sarežģīti. Esmu izmēģinājusi izmantot faziloģiku jeb nestriktās kopas, lai nonāktu pie elastdrošības vērtējuma katrai pētītajai valstij, raksturota ar līmeni - ļoti zems, zems, vidējs, augsts vai ļoti augsts elastdrošības līmenis. Izmantota projektu efektivitātes novērtēšanas pieeja, pieņemot, ka ekonomiskās jeb darba tirgus politikas ieviešana ir salīdzināma ar projektu vadību publiskajā pārvaldē.
After the disaster of switching to a professional army, the debate in Sweden centres around resurrecting conscription or joining NATO as a way to fix the problem. This presentation looks at the joining NATO option.

Dedicated to “Mental Healthcare: Benefits of Addiction Treatment for Individuals, Communities and Governments”, Dianova’s corporate external EXIT® Magazine 2018 is now available for readers online. “Offering treatments based on the scientific evidence is now helping millions of affected individuals to regain control over their lives.”
Scientific longitudinal follow-up study "Trajectories, from addiction to reintegration: 3 Stages of Analysis Study of Drug Addicts Social Trajectories After therapeutic Process” (PTDC/CS-SOC/099684/2008), developed by Prof. Susana Henriques, CIES-ISCTE-IUL, and funded by Fundação de Ciência e Tecnologia, Ministério da Educação, final results presented at EFTC 14th Conference in Prague, 18 September, 2013.
The aim: To capture Social regularities and singularities present on social reintegration of individuals associated with social, family and individual patterns to acquired skills during the therapeutic process on individuals who have completed treatment between 1999-2009 the program at Dianova Therapeutic Community Quinta das Lapas (Management Quality System ISO 9001:2008 implemented since 2005, with empirical control over quality indicators).
Main conclusions:
- Five main social trajectories: Residencial, Marital Status, Work, Capabilities (Education or Training), Substance consumption
- Residencial trajectories emerge as most relevant (change residence to get away from use environments)
- Capability is crucial to the reintegration process (rights of access, social freedom and mobility, recognition of identities and merit reward)
- Regarding the 3 factors related with the therapeutic process the correlation is always positive: the more years have passed since the treatment completion, the longer the duration of the treatment and the much better the treatment evaluation is, the higher the values of the IRST (Ex-Drug Users Social Reintegration Index)
