Social democratic government  coalition government

Represented 227 of 230 seats in the parliament
Sweden avoiding German attacks by not helping neighboring
countries

Why did Sweden want to remain neutral?
       - had nothing to win on warfare
       - avoid another famine
       - export of iron ore to Germany

Majority of the Swedish population were positive to the
government
        - would have been smaller if the people had access to
                 information and debate
