2015 Business Facilities LiveXchange Sponsor Information Presentation

Business Facilities LiveXchange connects economic development
professionals with senior-level executives and site selection
consultants who are actively seeking new locations for
their expansion or relocation projects.
Why Sponsor Business Facilities LiveXchange?
LiveXchange is your best opportunity to meet one-on-one with companies that are interested in
learning about the benefits of your location.
Delegates at LiveXchange represent companies that invest capital and create jobs in communities
across the U.S. Since the first event in 2005, LiveXchange projects have represented:
• Over 56,000 potential new jobs
• Over $967 million in payroll
• $6.4 billion in capital investment
BRING JOBS
AND INVESTMENT
TO YOUR COMMUNITY
2. “LiveXchange gives us the opportunity
to meet with people one-on-one, unlike
in a big-market setting where you’re
dealing with thousands of people and
you hope to bump into people who will
bring you business.
”– Vice President, Regional Growth Partnership (Ohio)
“The quality of the folks I’m meeting
with, from the companies to the
consultants, have a genuine interest in
the region that I represent. This has
been very worthwhile and I’m sure
I’ll get a real ROI.
”– Vice President, Business Investment,
Pittsburgh Regional Alliance
“I have 13 appointments over two days
which is a fantastic opportunity to
get one-on-one in front of companies
and site consultants that have
active projects.
”– Director, Piedmont Triad Partnership
THE QUALIFICATION PROCESS
Every delegate who applies to attend LiveXchange is
required to present their project plans to us. We carefully
review and only invite those delegates whose projects meet
our strict criteria:
• Must be responsible for the organizations’ relocation or
expansion plans
• Currently conducting or about to start a preliminary
search
• Plan to make the final decision of where to expand/
relocate within the next three years
• The project will result in at least one of the following
over the next three years:
– 40 full-time jobs (or equivalent) created
– $1 million in payroll, including health and
retirement benefits
– $2 million in capital investment
ROI FOR SPONSORING ORGANIZATIONS
• Each sponsor selects which delegates he or she wishes
to meet with using comprehensive delegate profiles.
• All meetings are driven by the delegate, and no
corporate delegate is placed in a meeting he or she
hasn’t specifically approved or requested. This ensures
an interested prospect in all business meetings.
• Sponsors can request additional meetings on-site.
• All sponsors receive their itinerary one week prior to the
event, enabling you to prepare for each meeting in
advance.

who have a mutual interest in meeting with one another
at LiveXchange. Meeting preferences are made by both
sponsors and delegates prior to the event. Once selections
are made, a personalized itinerary is provided based on
the expressed mutual interest of both parties. The system
brings together meeting requests, conference sessions,
meal meetings and networking events and delivers
personalized schedules that are tailored to individual
business needs.
“LiveXchange is a different venue than
I’m used to. It’s a lot of one-on-one
time so I can get more in-depth with
service providers. It’s time well spent
for me.
”– Manager, Global Grants and Incentives, DuPont
“This is a tremendous event.
LiveXchange is an excellent
opportunity because we’re getting
critical information from a number
of states and locations for my
project.
” – President, MCS Strategies
“LiveXchange is a great event and I
would encourage EDOs to give serious
consideration to being a sponsor.
”– Ed Burghard, CEO and Manager, The Burghard Group
