Qualification period:
January 1 - December 31, 2013

2. I. Life Sales Conference Qualification Period
All new life paid annualized first year premium for policies credited
between January 1, 2013 and the last paid cycle in December 2013
will count toward qualification.
No manual adjustments to qualification requirements will be made.
II. Credit for Qualifying Products
Products receive annualized premium credit, up to the target
premium for individual universal life policies (in most cases this is the
brochure premium).
Each of the qualifying products will be credited for policy count
qualification requirements.
III. Lapses
First year lapses are deducted at 100% of the annualized contest
credit; this includes production credited in a previous contest
period. For example, if a policy that was included in the prior year’s
Conference Qualification lapses in the current year, 100% of the
annualized premium is deducted from the current year’s annualized
premium credit.
IV. Conference Qualification Requirements
Individual Agents: Qualification requires $ 75,000 of net paid first
year annualized premium to qualify the agent and a guest.
Agencies and Other Entities: Agencies and other licensed entities
such as Property and Casualty Agencies, Partnerships, Corporate
Agencies, and Independent Marketing Organizations with multiple
solicitors or agents may qualify based on net paid annualized
premium for the agency or entity.
The total net paid annualized premium from all agents in the agency
or entity will be considered for qualification.
First year net paid annualized premium credited during the contest
period, less net paid annualized premium for qualifying agents
within the agency or entity, will be divided by $ 75,000. The quotient,
rounded down to the nearest whole number, will determine the
number of qualifiers for the agency or entity.
For example, if an agency produced $ 225,000 of net paid
annualized premium during the qualification period,with one agent
in the agency producing $ 75,000,the remaining $ 150,000 would be
divided by $ 75,000 equaling 2 additional qualifiers for the agency.($
150,000 divided by $ 75,000 = 2)
A maximum of 3 principals per agency or entity may qualify. The
agency/entity will designate which agents or principals will attend
the conference.
Agencies and other entities may not qualify on a Prorated basis
V. Minimum Number of Policies
Individual Agent: A minimum of 6 paid new policies is required.
Agency or Other Entity: A minimum of 12 paid new policies is
required.
VI. Company Participation
The Company will pay the following expenses relating to the
Conference.
Hotel and Lodging: The Company will pay for room and tax during
the conference dates. The qualifier will pay any incidentals that may
be incurred by the qualifier or guest.
Transportation: Depending on the distance between the qualifier’s
residence and the conference site,the Company will either reimburse
the qualifier for mileage driven to and from the conference or furnish
a round trip airline ticket from an airport and airline designated by
the Company. The Company will not reimburse travel expenses to
and from the designated airport.
Group Functions and Sponsored Activities: The Company will
pay for certain group functions and sponsored activities scheduled
during the conference.
Meals: The Company will pay for certain meals scheduled during
the conference.

VIII. Rescheduling or Substitutions
Rescheduling or substitutions will not be allowed.
Active Contract: Qualifiers must have an active contract with the
Company at the time of the conference.
Tax Reporting: In compliance with IRS regulations governing
incentive travel, individual attendees will receive a Form 1099 to
include in compensation the taxable fair market value of both their
travel and that of their guest. A valid Form W-9 from the attendee
is required before making travel arrangements. Forms 1099 will be
remitted to the attendees by the appropriate deadline for the year
of travel.
