Current problems facing image analysts
Flood of new sensors and data types:

Necessary data is located in multiple data stores either within the same
building or dispersed geographically across different systems and networks.

Statistics show that analysts spend up to 50 percent
of their time locating the data required for their tasks.

In addition to the problem of “finding data” and “swimming in data”
the US DoD is facing:

Solution to the problem
USAF needed a highly intuitive search and discovery engine

• Crawl, find, and catalog data in any
format across an entire enterprise,
through every different data store
• Catalog data in place - leveraging your
investment in existing data store
• Perform both structured and
unstructured searches
• Perform federated searches with other
installations in the enterprise
• Perform all tasks in a standard web
browser; no special software required
