This document provides information on safely operating machinery. It discusses performing checks of machinery before and after use, following safe operating procedures, and properly maintaining and storing equipment. Hazards associated with machinery like pinch, shear, and crush points are outlined. The importance of training, personal protective equipment, and reporting faults is also emphasized.
The document describes several weed species, providing details about their description, identification features, and problems caused. Key weeds mentioned include bindweed, which has creeping roots and competes for resources; caltrop, which has spiky burrs that can injure animals; and salvinia, an invasive aquatic fern that rapidly reproduces and clogs waterways. Many of the weeds discussed spread easily and reduce pasture quality or contaminate wool.
This document discusses tractor safety hazards and how to operate tractors safely. The five key mechanical hazards are roll-overs, run-overs, PTO hazards, mounting/dismounting, and noise. The five human factors that contribute to hazardous operation are risk taking behavior, insufficient training, physical limitations, impaired functions, and psychological limitations. The three main environmental hazards are broken ground, sloping ground, and climatic influences. The document provides guidance on controlling risks from each of these hazards.
Here are the key pieces of PPE shown and how they prevent injury:
- Safety boots: Protect feet from sharp objects like nails or wire that could pierce the skin.
- Gloves: Protect hands from cuts, scratches, and abrasions when handling wire or tools.
- Eye protection: Goggles or safety glasses protect eyes from flying debris or objects when using power tools or hammering.
- Hard hat: Protects the head from falling objects like tools or materials dropped from above.
- High visibility vest: Makes the wearer more visible to machinery operators or vehicles working in the area to prevent collisions.
- Ear protection: Earmuffs or plugs block loud noises
Primary industries involve the extraction and processing of natural resources. They include agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, forestry, and mining. Weather is important for primary industries as it affects crops, production timing, and safety. Weather information is obtained from various sources like the Bureau of Meteorology, newspapers, TV, and radio. It provides data on rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction which are recorded using instruments like rain gauges and anemometers. Synoptic charts are weather maps that convey air pressure, rainfall, wind and temperature patterns using symbols. Weather impacts activities and safety in areas like livestock, chemicals application, and sustainability of primary industries. Proper planning, equipment, clothing and warnings help reduce risks
This document discusses agrichemicals and weed control. It defines agrichemicals as any chemicals used in agriculture, including fuels, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and fertilizers. It distinguishes between different types of pesticides such as herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides. Weeds are defined as any unwanted plant, and are categorized as noxious, agricultural, or environmental weeds. Weeds compete with crops for resources like water, light, and nutrients. They persist due to rapid growth, large seed production, dormant seeds, dispersal abilities, and lack of natural predators. Integrated weed management and integrated pest management use mechanical, chemical, and biological control methods.
Livestock observation
Animal welfare refers to the physical and mental health of animals. Poor animal welfare impacts production and reproduction, can result in loss of market access, and violates legislation requiring owners to care for livestock welfare. Livestock experience pain and desire pleasure, so poor welfare causes stress compromising growth, production, and reproduction. Owners must regularly monitor livestock through inspection, ensure access to food, water and shelter, and house livestock according to codes of practice to maintain welfare. Signs of poor welfare include changes in behavior, appetite, health, and production.

4. ∆АРt=АРt-АРt-∆t, АРt=(High(t)+Low(t)+Open(t)+Close(t))/4
«ничего не предпринимать»;
периодичность поступлений котировок;
ряды значений цен High(t), Low(t), Open(t), Close(t);
«памяти рынка», который учитывается в расчетах;
текущий период времени ∆t ;
