Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to perceive, understand, and manage one's own emotions and those of others. It is a form of social intelligence based on Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, specifically intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligences. Goleman identified five domains of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skill. The document discusses how teachers can develop students' emotional intelligence through communicative language teaching methods like warm-up activities, group work, and feedback to create a positive learning environment without negative feelings.
Emotional intelligence involves the ability to perceive, understand, and manage one's own emotions and those of others. It is based on Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences and involves personal intelligences like intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. Daniel Goleman identified five domains of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skill. Teachers play a role in students' emotional development through attachment, reassurance, bonding, induction, and training students in a holistic way. Communicative language teaching and high emotional intelligence go hand-in-hand by creating a positive learning atmosphere without negative feelings through personalized exercises.
The document discusses a potential early Neolithic copper find at Egebjerg Bakke in Denmark. It presents photos and descriptions of several copper flat axes from the Trb II and SN I periods that were discovered at other sites, to use as comparisons. These include axes from Kirke Skensved, Ettrup, Bygholm, Årupgård, Hyrup and Gerdrup Ravnemark. The document aims to determine if a small fragment found at Egebjerg Bakke is also a copper flat axe, which would make it one of the earliest copper objects found in Denmark dating to the early Neolithic period.
This document discusses container tracking software called Geqoo Boxes. It aims to provide transparency of container locations and statuses. This is challenging due to complex container movements between locations and service providers. Geqoo Boxes records container data through various techniques depending on container value and usage. It stores data centrally in the cloud for analysis and access by various user types. Key features include real-time tracking, status updates, rule checking, and integration with ERP systems. The software provides advantages like quick implementation and cost savings over custom IT projects or high investments.
Infectious disease epidemiology describes influenza as an acute viral infection typically causing abrupt onset of fever and respiratory symptoms like cough and sore throat. Complications can include primary viral or secondary bacterial pneumonia. Influenza viruses are transmitted through respiratory secretions when people cough, sneeze or talk. There are annual epidemics in winter months in temperate regions that vary in severity each year. Pandemics occur less frequently and represent major antigenic shifts in influenza virus subtypes. Surveillance, vaccines, antiviral drugs, rest, and handwashing help prevent and treat influenza.
This document discusses the vision and concept of a hybrid museum. It proposes that the museum be reimagined for the 21st century with a brand promise of "Think about everything, differently." The hybrid museum is defined as combining two different elements or disciplines. Examples are given of other museums that take a hybrid approach, mixing collections and creating interdisciplinary narratives. The document advocates that the hybrid museum not only combine disciplines but also functions and organizational structures in order to generate new understanding and help people understand the world to make it a better place.
How knowledge can make decision making more effective: practices fostering do...Dario Pagnoni
While a single-loop learning process is primary based on the strategy of controlling environment and tasks unilaterally, risking to result into the inhibition of valid feedback, a double-loop learning process
is able to question the underlying value and assumptions beyond the governing variables, providing a
more effective decision making. Building on a previous theoretical framework, this study provides an example of an organization adopting a double-loop learning model.
Looking at the case of the annual Wikimania events, the nature of the undergoing learning process is
explored, analyzing how the experience developed organizing an event is transformed into knowledge.
The peculiar multilevel decision-making structure that emerges is illustrated in its relationship to the development of practices that foster the knowledge building and, at the same time, allows double-loop learning.

SNMP is a protocol used to monitor network devices and determine communication methods for sharing information. It allows management programs to poll agent programs running on devices using SNMP messages. The management program then aggregates the collected information from responding agents and presents it graphically. Bridges and routers relay data between networks. MIB refers to the database of objects managed in a network that SNMP accesses to monitor and control device information and status.
SNMP is a protocol that allows network devices to communicate information about their status to network management systems. The management system polls agent programs running on devices using SNMP messages, and the agents reply with information that is aggregated and presented graphically. This information is stored in the MIB, or Management Information Base, which contains objects managing the elements of the network. Bridges and routers relay data between networks.
