  • #3 fluxflex社についてですが、日本人2名の創業者がシリコンバレースタートアップを始めるためにアメリカデラウエア州に登記した法人になります。サンフランシスコと東京におりまして、日米同時にサービスを展開しています。先週11日に正式版をリリースして、チームは現在4名です。\n
  • #4 fluxflexとは、一言で言えばクラウドホスティングサービスです。ユーザにとって、簡単にデプロイ。サーバ運用の必要がない。FREEと月額$1からの低価格が特徴です。\nサーバにはEC2のAmazon Web Servicesクラウドを使っています。コンセプトは「開発者のための理想的なホスティング環境をつくろう」です。\n
  • #5 fluxflexが生まれた背景ですが、こちらは通常ネットサービスの開発過程とコストをイメージしたものですが、ローンチ前にはコーディングの他にサーバやネットワークの設定構築がローンチ後はサーバネットワークの運用や増設が必要になり、この緑の部分が大きく、エンジニアには手間、経営的にはコストになってしまう部分です。\n
  • #6 クラウドIaaSが国内でも出てきましたが、特徴はこのようなものがあると思います。一方サービス提供者側の要望としては「置けば動いて、、」であって、先ほどの緑の部分を自分たちから切り離したいことがあり、この間に大きなギャップがあります。このギャップを埋めるべくfluxflexがあります。\n
  • #7 また、現在の開発時間のトレンドは時代と共にますます減少していく傾向になっています。早いサーバ、効率的なフレームワーク、クラウドサービスの誕生。今後この動きは続いていくはずでfluxflexがさらに効率的な開発を加速させるサービスになるはずです。\n

  • #16 リリース後の反応ですが、かなり反響が大きかったです。VentureNowにも取材して頂きましたし、アジアのテック系Penn Olsonという英語のサイトからYCombinatorのHackerNewsに取り上げられて、バグの指摘を受けたりという感じで日本、アメリカ、アジアに伝搬したと思います。\n
  • #17 twitterが反応がわかりやすいのですが、実際やってみて簡単だったとか、ブログに書いてくれたり、英語圏でもリリース情報は広まりました。\n
  • #18 今後の展開として、マーケット視点ですが、僕らと同じPaaSプレイヤは今非常に買収ラッシュで、僕らのその流れに載るべく早期のエグジットを目指しています。クラウドの市場はまだまだ延びる傾向ですからPaaSが今後ますます加熱するだろうと思っています。\n
  • #19 機能的にはワンクリックインストール対応アプリケーションの拡充、現状gitのデプロイ方法に加えてDropboxを使ったデプロイ環境の提供を検討しています。開発者のパフォーマンスを最大化するための機能を模索しつつ提供し続けていきます。\n
