The new version features a host of new characteristics and appealing features such as the possibility for the unit to be mounted upside down and still maintain its IP44 weather protection or again the possibility to replace the lamp from behind. Electronically controlled mixing of cyan, yellow and magenta dichroic filters can create virtually any desired colour and illuminate any building or structure to great effect. The Nocturno can work in a variety of stand alone modes incorporating a number of automatic sequences, or be controlled by standard DMX 512. The aluminium and galvanised steel body and the scratch resistant epoxy paint are part of an attractive housing design which carries a water resistance rating IP44. The digital display includes a highly useful hour counter system showing elapsed lamp life (approx 2500 hrs, manufacturers rating), of great benefit for touring or rental companies, as well as for fixed installations. The new version features a host of new characteristics and appealing features such as the possibility for the unit to be mounted upside down and still maintain its IP44 weather protection or again the possibility to replace the lamp from behind. Electronically controlled mixing of cyan, yellow and magenta dichroic filters can create virtually any desired colour and illuminate any building or structure to great effect. The Nocturno can work in a variety of stand alone modes incorporating a number of automatic sequences, or be controlled by standard DMX 512. The aluminium and galvanised steel body and the scratch resistant epoxy paint are part of an attractive housing design which carries a water resistance rating IP44. The digital display includes a highly useful hour counter system showing elapsed lamp life (approx 2500 hrs, manufacturers rating), of great benefit for touring or rental companies, as well as for fixed installations. Available to order for either the CDM or MSD lamps, designers and specifiers can choose between the 9000 hour and 3000K colour temperature of the CDM lamp or the perceptually brighter MSD with 8500K and 2000 hour lamp life. Intelligent operation includes not only a real time clock but is also an inbuilt light sensor to switch the unit on or off when the ambient light reaches a user determined level. Coming out as the latest product of FAL, it has readily made up for the brightness deficiency for high-level building, bridge and distant view, and formed a perfect, powerful product line with Aspect250, Nocturno, successfully bringing out the best of the architect and light engineer’s design. It has adopted preferably advanced optical system, with half-ball parabolic reflector, a DMX-controlled projection angle from 5°-14° and with protection rating IP54. “Noctilucence Prince”, with an angle of 5°- 8°, can project a light of 40 Lux reaching 240m high, with diameter 24m and projection area 450m2.
