Taylor Mickle-Letter to the judges format 2011 12
Taylor Mickle sent care packages overseas to US Naval officers in Afghanistan as her senior project. Her goals were to send as many packages as possible to raise troops' spirits and remind them of home. She filled boxes with needed supplies and researched the enlistment process. Though raising funds and supplies from family and her church was difficult initially, she ultimately succeeded. The project related to her planned Navy enlistment and taught her skills that will help in the military.

Both rituals reinforce our family bonds and hold deep spiritual meaning for us by allowing reflection and generosity between generations.

Farmers' Day on May 16 will have games and animals; wear country clothes. Library Live next Thursday seeks acts to perform.
