Let me tell you about a big party we had in our neighbourhood last Sunday.
It all started when my best friend, Melissa, and I decided that we had to do something to welcome our new
neighbours, the Russells. They moved to a house in our street two months ago. They have got three children: two
little boysanda girl my age.Her name isBrenda and she goes to my school. One day Melissa told me: “Liza, Look at

I thinkI am veryluckybecause mybest friend is also my neighbour. So it´s easy to spend a lot of time together: we

know their neighbours and to make friends.
There were lotsof tasks to do like writing invitations, planning activities, organizing food and drinks and forming a
clean-up committee. It was a lot of work but it was worth it. The Russells are very polite and friendly. I also saw
Brenda laughing for the first time. She surprised everybody when she started playing the guitar and singing. We
didn´t know she could sing so well.
It was an awesome Sunday and we had great fun.
