This document discusses different types of analysis that can be performed on a two-story frame building to study its response to various types of excitation, including elastic analysis, inelastic analysis using two hysteretic bilinear models, and modal analysis using the Rayleigh damping and Newmark methods in the OpenSees software. The analyses can examine the building's response to linear, trilinear, and harmonic loads as well as recorded seismic accelerations to compare elastic and inelastic responses.
