Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 allows multiple users to simultaneously share one computer. Each user has their own independent Windows desktop accessed through separate monitors, keyboards, and mice connected to the host computer via USB or network cables. The MultiPoint Dashboard application allows non-administrator users to monitor and interact with user desktops, such as blocking access, limiting websites, projecting their desktop, launching/closing applications, sending messages through IM, taking control of desktops, resizing desktops, and restarting/shutting down the host computer.
