Therefore, I based my clinical issue on a question on why there are errors in the medical field. I found this clinical issue to work hand in hand with the question of what are the adverse effects suffered by patients who are victimized of these nursing errors. How is the severity of the impact experienced by each patient when they bear errors that, as a result of medical officers, in this case, nurses? These articles observed research ethics because they were based on a practical environment, and all participants used for research were aware of the research being conducted.
These articles have different objectives, but all of them are concentrated in errors that are manifested in a medical setting by patients due to a nurse's faults of efficiency. The first article, in this case, is based on errors that are committed by nurses in cases of outpatient. The article associates these errors to technological shortcomings, which are as a result of a new method of prescribing outpatient (Matthew E. Hirschtritt, Steven Chan, Wilson O. Ly, Pharm). The second research article uses a more general approach whereby it assesses the general reasons why nurses find themselves committing errors while issuing medication to patients. This research article covers the reasons why these errors are manifested on a regular basis (Midwifery Journal, 2018).
The third article that I used for my paper was based on the frequency and severing of adverse effects suffered by patients for a case of nursing errors. To serve the purpose, the article is based on patients who exhibit old age demographic factors (Risk Management Health Policy, 2013). From the fourth research article that I used to assess my clinical issue in question, it was more related to the other three articles. It is also based on the reason for errors that are manifested in a psychiatric setting. In particle, the article focuses on the type and the nature of errors that are prevalent in the psychiatric setting (International Journal for Quality in Health Care, 2010).

In other terms recognized as evidence-based medication, evidence-based scientific practice is elucidated as the careful, obvious, and judicious use of the best indication in creating results for the outstanding care of separate patients. It helps those who brand the choices to device best healthcare practices while drawing the roadmaps for the health system. In clinical trials, the integration of the EBCP entails clinical respiratory medicine considers two fundamental principles. The interrelationship between the theory, research, and EBP
The relationship between the theory, research, and the EBP supports the three recognition programs. NARRATOR: Evidence-based practice refers to psychotherapy that is based on
empirical research. Listen as Doctor Norcross describes various components of
evidence-based practice and addresses current controversies related to its use.
JOHN NORCROSS: The overarching goal of evidence based practice is
effectiveness. We take the best available research, putting clinical expertise in
the context of patient characteristics, culture, and preferences to enhance the
efficacy, efficiency, and applicability of psychotherapy. As applied to individual
clinicians, evidence-based practice makes us more effective, allows us to meet
patients where they are.
For society as a whole, evidence-based practice promises better public health for
the entire populace. That's why we do evidence-based practice. I like to think of it
as psychologists, we are indeed all scholar practitioners or scientist practitioners.
It is our field, it is our training that makes us the experts in human behavior.
We will automatically be trained to be guided, fueled, not shackled, driven by the
best research. That informs our practice. That's what differentiates us from
various fields. That's the reason for some of these gruesome-- if not
traumaticizing-- courses in statistics and research we all take. There really is a
purpose to those courses, so that we can understand research, so that we can
access it and use it for clinical good.
That's evidence-based practice. The first and foremost pillar of evidence-based
practice is the best available research. And this is usually derived from science
and health-related areas. Historically, it's referred to the best research pertaining
to treatment methods. But it's far more inclusive than that.
It's the best available research on the prevalence of disorders. Yes, of course the
treatment method, the best available research on the therapy relationship,
evidence-based assessment, consultation, education, referral. It's bringing the
best of science from the research labs to apply to the consulting room. Evidence-
based practice integrates three pillars-- so the best available research, patient
characteristics, cultural preferences, and then clinical expertise.
Clinical expertise comprises all that the person of the therapist brings in-- their
training, their experience, their inherent personhood that goes into making
diagnostic judgments, establishing a robust therapeutic alliance, case
formulations, monitoring patient or client outcomes, making referrals as
necessary. Everything that's human about psychotherapy is encompassed within
that term-- clinical expertise.

Normally, PICOT format is helpful in formulation of questions in an evidenced based clinical practice. PICOT generated questions generally fall under for main categories of clinical practices. Summary of Case Study
The ever increasingly high incidence of breast cancer conditions has posed serious challenges in the nursing profession. Provision of appropriate healthcare to the cancer patients has been lacking leading to adverse effects of the proliferation of cancerous cells which further worsen the conditions of the patients. As primary care, clinicians have the responsibility to stressing providing healthcare services within healthcare facilities as well as monitoring treatment in home based facilities to help manage cancer condition. Most cancer patient need clinicians who practice evidence-based clinical practices (Riva, Malik, Burnie, Endicott, & Busse, 2012).
Research Question
In cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, will they have better white blood cell count monitoring with a follow-up at home versus follow-up at a health care facility during their treatment?
PICOT Format
1) P-Population: Patients aged 18-60 years-old, breast cancer who have not received chemotherapy in the past six months are subjected to the treatment. Patients with other serious health conditions such as heart diseases were excluded in the study. 30 patients, with 15patients stationed at the healthcare facility while the other 15 patients receiving home-based care, are expected to take part in the study.
2) I -Intervention: The patients will receive dosage based on the age, sex and health general body health as well as the stage of cancer cells proliferation in the body. The patients are required take the prescribed drugs at regular intervals. The subjects will be subjected to treatment under the same during the research study.
3) C-Comparison: All the subject regardless of variations in their level of dose requirement will be subjected to the same treatment for the same duration, 3months. Standardized treatment will be given to subjects with no extreme variations in their level of dose requirement and would be used as an active control group. Using this strategy, it will be possible to minimize the non-specific effects due to a group of the patient receiving treatment within the healthcare.

Perfection is not in humans, but at times we commit errors in areas that we should not. Such an environment is a medical setting because we deal with human life, which is very precious and once lost, cannot be recovered. Therefore, I based my clinical issue on a question on why there are errors in the medical field. I found this clinical issue to work hand in hand with the question of what are the adverse effects suffered by patients who are victimized of these nursing errors. How is the severity of the impact experienced by each patient when they bear errors that, as a result of medical officers, in this case, nurses? These articles observed research ethics because they were based on a practical environment, and all participants used for research were aware of the research being conducted.
These articles have different objectives, but all of them are concentrated in errors that are manifested in a medical setting by patients due to a nurse's faults of efficiency. The first article, in this case, is based on errors that are committed by nurses in cases of outpatient. The article associates these errors to technological shortcomings, which are as a result of a new method of prescribing outpatient (Matthew E. Hirschtritt, Steven Chan, Wilson O. Ly, Pharm). The second research article uses a more general approach whereby it assesses the general reasons why nurses find themselves committing errors while issuing medication to patients. This research article covers the reasons why these errors are manifested on a regular basis (Midwifery Journal, 2018).
The third article that I used for my paper was based on the frequency and severing of adverse effects suffered by patients for a case of nursing errors. To serve the purpose, the article is based on patients who exhibit old age demographic factors (Risk Management Health Policy, 2013). From the fourth research article that I used to assess my clinical issue in question, it was more related to the other three articles. It is also based on the reason for errors that are manifested in a psychiatric setting. In particle, the article focuses on the type and the nature of errors that are prevalent in the psychiatric setting (International Journal for Quality in Health Care, 2010).
Each of these research articles uses different methods to mine data and factual information about errors that are prevalent in the medical setting. They range from qualitative methods, quantitative methods, and others are based on mixed methods. The first article that I used for my clinical issue is based on a theoretical approach hence qualitative methodology. The article has an in-depth theoretical explanation of these errors from nurses. This is a minimum nurse involvement in a research responsibility. It is done when a nurse read a research report to keep up-to-date on relevant findings that may affect their practice. This level is called "research utilization".
Research Utilization: "Is the use of the research findings in a practice setting"
2. Direct participation: in which nurses are nursing research producers. They are actively participating in designing and implementing research studies.

In other terms recognized as evidence-based medication, evidence-based scientific practice is elucidated as the careful, obvious, and judicious use of the best indication in creating results for the outstanding care of separate patients. In clinical trials, the integration of the EBCP entails clinical respiratory medicine considers two fundamental principles. For example, the principle is the hierarchy of the evidence and the art of clinical decision-making.
The interrelationship between the theory, research, and EBP
The relationship between the theory, research, and the EBP supports the three recognition programs. They still relate in terms of the magnet model component of modern knowledge, innovation, and advancement. They describe in a way in which they lead to the promotion of quality in a setting that makes supports professional practices. Second, there is the identification of excellence in giving nursing services to sick people or the people who stay around. NARRATOR: Evidence-based practice refers to psychotherapy that is based on
empirical research. Listen as Doctor Norcross describes various components of
evidence-based practice and addresses current controversies related to its use.
JOHN NORCROSS: The overarching goal of evidence based practice is
effectiveness. We take the best available research, putting clinical expertise in
the context of patient characteristics, culture, and preferences to enhance the
efficacy, efficiency, and applicability of psychotherapy. As applied to individual
clinicians, evidence-based practice makes us more effective, allows us to meet
patients where they are.
For society as a whole, evidence-based practice promises better public health for
the entire populace. That's why we do evidence-based practice. I like to think of it
as psychologists, we are indeed all scholar practitioners or scientist practitioners.
It is our field, it is our training that makes us the experts in human behavior.
We will automatically be trained to be guided, fueled, not shackled, driven by the
best research. That informs our practice. That's what differentiates us from
various fields. That's the reason for some of these gruesome-- if not
traumaticizing-- courses in statistics and research we all take. There really is a
purpose to those courses, so that we can understand research, so that we can
access it and use it for clinical good.
That's evidence-based practice. The first and foremost pillar of evidence-based
practice is the best available research. And this is usually derived from science
and health-related areas. Historically, it's referred to the best research pertaining
to treatment methods. But it's far more inclusive than that.
It's the best available research on the prevalence of disorders. Yes, of course the
treatment method, the best available research on the therapy relationship,
evidence-based assessment, consultation, education, referral. It's bringing the
best of science from the research labs to apply to the consulting room. Evidence-
based practice integrates three pillars-- so the best available research, patient
characteristics, cultural preferences, and then clinical expertise.
Clinical expertise comprises all that the person of the therapist brings in-- their
training, their experience, their inherent personhood that goes into making
diagnostic judgments, establishing a robust therapeutic alliance, case
formulations, monitoring patient or client outcomes, making referrals as
necessary. Everything that's human about psychotherapy is encompassed within
that term-- clinical expertise.

Normally, PICOT format is helpful in formulation of questions in an evidenced based clinical practice. PICOT generated questions generally fall under for main categories of clinical practices. Summary of Case Study
The ever increasingly high incidence of breast cancer conditions has posed serious challenges in the nursing profession. Provision of appropriate healthcare to the cancer patients has been lacking leading to adverse effects of the proliferation of cancerous cells which further worsen the conditions of the patients. As primary care, clinicians have the responsibility to stressing providing healthcare services within healthcare facilities as well as monitoring treatment in home based facilities to help manage cancer condition. Most cancer patient need clinicians who practice evidence-based clinical practices (Riva, Malik, Burnie, Endicott, & Busse, 2012).
Research Question
In cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, will they have better white blood cell count monitoring with a follow-up at home versus follow-up at a health care facility during their treatment?
PICOT Format
1) P-Population: Patients aged 18-60 years-old, breast cancer who have not received chemotherapy in the past six months are subjected to the treatment. Patients with other serious health conditions such as heart diseases were excluded in the study. 30 patients, with 15patients stationed at the healthcare facility while the other 15 patients receiving home-based care, are expected to take part in the study.
2) I -Intervention: The patients will receive dosage based on the age, sex and health general body health as well as the stage of cancer cells proliferation in the body. The patients are required take the prescribed drugs at regular intervals. The subjects will be subjected to treatment under the same during the research study.
3) C-Comparison: All the subject regardless of variations in their level of dose requirement will be subjected to the same treatment for the same duration, 3months. Standardized treatment will be given to subjects with no extreme variations in their level of dose requirement and would be used as an active control group. Using this strategy, it will be possible to minimize the non-specific effects due to a group of the patient receiving treatment within the healthcare.
4) O-Outcome: The response in chemotherapy treatments will be check by examining the numbers of defective cancerous cells in the body tissues. The patients will report to the theatre in order to be examined by an oncologist. The results will be recorded i ...

"How will we increase job satisfaction?" I asked. Apparently, the hospital administration had tried several things, including an "across the board" raise, with no change in the turnover rate. Nurse Jones suggested, "It's better to ask the nurses themselves. Empirical knowledge, again, is the best possible way to 'know' here."

Dead Men's Path by China Achebe delves into the implications of making choices. Achebe uses symbolism to bring home his views on the repercussions that choices people make can have on their lives. Achebe presents a society that is torn apart in two divides: between the tradition on one hand and modernity on the other hand. The society is not willing to welcome the new progressive thoughts that have been brought by the missionaries(Achebe, 2009). Through the use of symbolism, Achebe makes a cataclysmic flowing story that has much deeper imnsights than the superficial representations in words. What are some of the dangers of disregarding the opinions that is supported by majority in the society? Achebe’s Dead Men's Path answers this question using symbolic presentations. This mouse also caught my attention because it looks so funny and different from the rest of the mice. The Florida mouse is found only in a limited area in central peninsular Florida and one small area in the Florida panhandle. The mouse inhabits some of Florida's hottest and driest regions in the high pinelands, sandhills, flatlands, and coastal scrub. They average between 5 to 8 inches long, and their tails are between 2 to 3.5 inches long, weighing between 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce. The Florida mouse has soft silky fur that is brown or brownish-orange in color. Its underparts are white. Their ears are large and furless. Their tails are long, and their back paws are large and have 5 pads. Their teeth are sharp, and they use them for gnawing.
The Florida mouse is nocturnal and is active throughout the year except on unusually cold nights. The mouse can climb but is primarily a terrestrial species. They communicate by emitting high pitched squeals, and when they are excited, they thump the ground with their front paws producing a drumming sound. The Florida mouse also has a distinctive odor, almost like a skunk. A baby of a Florida mouse is called a pinkie, kitten, or pup. The females are called doe and males buck. A Florida mouse group is called a nest, colony, harvest, horde, or mischief.
The Florida mouse is an omnivore, and its diet consists of acorns when available, insects, seeds, nuts, fungi, crickets, ticks, fruit, berries, and other plant material and vertebrates. A 1987 report indicates the mouse feeds on engorged ticks (
Ornithodorus turicata americanus
) that parasitize gopher frogs (
Rana areolata
) and gopher tortoises.

2.Six families of dragonflies exist in Florida with most found near ponds and other freshwater sources. Dragonflies feature large eyes that make up most of their head and a muscular body that helps the insects use their large wings to fly. Sometimes you'll see dragonflies hovering near blacktop parking lots, but for the most part, the insects stay near water except when they look for a mate. They then return to the water to breed and deposit eggs.
Adult dragonflies will eat any insect as long as they can catch it. Dragonfly nymphs live in the water, and they usually wait on aquatic vegetation.
From the nymph stage to the adult stage, the dragonfly has a significant, positive ecological impact. Dragonfly eggs are laid and hatched in or near water, so their lives impact both water and land ecosystems. Once hatched, dragonfly nymphs can breathe underwater, and they use a motion similar to jet propulsion to move through their environment. This enables them to eat harmful aquatic organisms such as mosquito larvae. The nymph will continue contributing to this ecosystem for one to five years before becoming a mature adult. The adult dragonfly has enormous compound eyes that are useful in searching for flying insects. While flying, it uses its six legs to scoop food out of the air. Clasping the prey in its front legs, it then eats the insect in flight.
Dragonflies play ecological roles not only as predators but also as prey of birds, frogs, and other creatures. The presence of dragonflies indicates freshwater. One of the most useful dragonfly facts is that they reside low in the food chain, so a scientific study of their numbers and their health can reveal changes in water ecosystems more quickly than studying other animals or plants. Some national parks are beginning to use this species to survey and document the health of the park's water ecosystems. Since dragonflies eat mosquitoes and other insects, they help gardeners and outdoor enthusiasts. This also helps the environment because it allows humans to reduce the u.

The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Research: I started an independent study by my own and found Dr. Gerin to be my mentor for guidance, this experience was studying an empirically developed method to treat neurologically challenged patients following neurophysiological approach to explain the benefits of an empirical method to treat patients presenting a variety of somatosensory impairments. The study focused on determining if this empirical treatment is curative or artefactual. Somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP) was studied theoretically using literature. The empirical treatment was evaluated, and outcomes were defined when compared to theoretical and literature information which allowed to determine the curative versus artifactual value of this empirical treatment. Eventually, the study was by published and it actually opened a lot of new doors for me to do more research. Then I worked Under Dr. Kimberly Leeson and Lynn Carrasco and their residents in the Emergency rooms and ICU, I have been a research associate since May 2016. This experience was working alongside the residents to collect research data, data entry, and analysis for the resident's research projects. This
- 4. position enabled me to explore more about the research ethics and exclusive medical research techniques. Furthermore, this experience required more info beyond my knowledge such as medical terminologies, subsequently, the outputs were gaining several skills and knowing widespread spectrum about the diseases and its causes or names. Additionally, working among the doctors is a great opportunity in exploring medical experiences. Research has been an interesting option in my life. In my career endeavors, I have worked as a research associate at different firms and occasions.for the patients in Emergency Rooms. In the Emergency Rooms, the patients are usually at critical conditions and thus getting any sort ofinformation from them can be a challenge but is still a fabulous experience. One needs to be patient and inquire in a manner that doesnot make the patient uncomfortable. I was personally involved in the collection of this data although, during entry and editing period, Icould understand what it was, and possibly how and why it was collected. Regarding research in hospital, living among the residentsmade me feel like one of them and I engaged in almost every activity that they undertook. I have volunteered as a research associate,working together with the residents to collect data, enter and analyze it for the resident’s research projects. I also aided in conductingsurveys for the consenting candidates, collect data for them, organize it to an understandable form and then enter it into the system.
