It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

TO COME TO EARTH.
The year 1920 when I was born was the year following
the March 1st Movement for Korean independence.
Before my birth, Korea suffered three years of famine.
The March 1st Movement brought the nation into a time
of turmoil, yet it was already suffering through a most
difficult period brought on by natural calamities.
Background
4. Under Japanese colonial rule, Korea was being
pulled in Satan's direction; hence,
the March 1st revolution broke out in order to move
things in a new direction.
The people who led that movement were people of
faith, mainly Christians and adherents of the
Cheondogyo faith. They presented a new direction
that shifted from Japanese imperialism toward
America with its Christian culture.
In this way, Christianity spread widely and penetrated
deeply into the culture of the Korean nation and people.
5. This was possible because the Korean people,
who chafed under the rule of imperial Japan,
were inclining more toward the Christian cultural
sphere, which was influenced by the United States.
This is an amazing fact.
Beginning from that historical uprising against
Japan, Christianity in Korea developed rapidly.
(142-054, 1986/03/01)
6. Many Koreans sacrificed their lives calling for
independence from Japan by carrying out the Mansei
Demonstrations that began on March 1, 1919.
Why did such a tragedy take place at that point in
time? It was because I was meant to be conceived
and born during a period of patriotic fervor.
7. I was born in the first lunar month of 1920, during
the year after the March 1st Movement began.
Why was this significant?
The Returning Lord must be born in a nation that
God can claim, even if He can claim it only conditionally.
If the Returning Lord were to be born and come to a
nation that had not established such a condition,
it would be as if he were floating in the air,
without solid ground on which to stand.
8. That is why God led the March 1st Movement.
So much blood was shed just for one person --me
-- to come to earth.
That is why the Korean people suffered so much in
1919, both from famine due to a poor harvest and
from the loss of life through this heroic but tragic
movement.
It is based on such indemnity conditions that God's
providence has been advancing. (244-326, 1993/03/01)

Background
National Thirst for Freedom Source
of 'Samil' Independence Movement
To understand fully the March 1 Independence
Movement of 1919, one must carefully study
the Korean people's strong thirst for independence
under the Japanese colonial rule as the
international situation of the time.
10. After the nation's annexation to Japan in 1910,
the first Governor General, Masatake Terauchi,
proclaimed martial law which was enforced until 1915.
In reality, however, his military government continued
until 1919 when the much suppressed Koreans rose
up against the brutality of the Japanese.
11. During these years, many Korean patriots fled
overseas to fight against the Japanese for the nation's
independence while others devoted themselves to
enlightening people through religious activities and news
papers inside the country.
In 1911, Terauchi arrested, without any warning or
Evidence, 115 Korean patriots mostly from church
groups which included several American missionaries.
His action was a warning against any sort of
anti-Japanese movement.
12. When the World War I broke out in 1914, Japan
fought on the allies, side against Germany through
the Anglo-Japan Alliance.
With the beginning of the war, the Japanese military
government in this country increased its suppression
on the people.

15. The Korean flag is called taegukki.
Its appearance symbolizes
the principles of yin and yang in Oriental philosophy.
The circle in the center is divided into two equal parts.
The upper red section represents the ”positive” cosmic energy yang.
Similarly, the lower blue section symbolizes, the ”negative” cosmic
forces yin.
The two forces together embody the concept
of perpetual motion and balance and harmony
that characterize the eternal realm. (KoH)
