Dear Healthcare Employer,
My name is Sandra Gorgy, and I have recently come upon your job ad as a OneBlood Lab
Assistant. I am very much interested in this type of work and would love to fill this position, if I am
able to.
I have just graduated the University of South Florida with my Bachelors Degree in
Biomedical Sciences. Throughout my time in college, I took numerous biology classes, chemistry
classes, and classes relating to the medical field. I also partook in laboratory courses for each of
these, where I spent 3-4 hours per week (per class) in the lab where I perfected many techniques
such as centrifugation, bacterial culturing, and even protein synthesis. Seeing as how becoming a
Lab Assistant for OneBlood requires many of these techniques, I am proud to say that I am
confident in my capabilities for this position.
Again, I would absolutely love to become a part of this company, and I would greatly
appreciate any consideration you are willing to give me. Please let me know if you have any
questions; I would be happy to follow up with your approval. Thank you for your time.
Cordially,
Sandra Gorgy
