At the end of the workshop, participants will have a better overview of how their MOOCs would look like from the design perspective and initial plans for their implementation would be prepared.

In 2014, Victoria University of Wellington began a project to replace the existing data integration system between the Student Information System (Banner) and Blackboard.A project that touches an institution's Student Information System and Learning Management System will always have its own special challenges. Victoria University of Wellington made use of Blackboard's SIS Integration Mentoring service to help tackle some of the thorny issues and assist with the implementation. As well as challenges, the project provided important opportunities to engage with stakeholders, refine existing processes, and improve the quality of the integration between the systems with a view to future developments. This presentation will cover the goals and outcomes, the different stages of the project, and how we overcame some of the more difficult implementation and organisational issues, without delving too deeply into the specific technical details.

Child-Friendly Technology Framework
You can start using the CFT when you have an idea for a project with a technology component that is focused on children and adolescents. It consists of 52 worksheets grouped into seven sections. These worksheets serve as programme guidance and can spark conversations among your team members. The CFT will guide you through strategizing a context-specific plan, without proposing a one-size-fits-all solution. The finishing product will be a completed Concept Note and Executive Summary, which is essentially the Terms of Reference for your project. You can finalize it, share it, and kick off your work.
The CFT is created by the UNICEF Innovation Unit, Supply Division and Programme Division based on dedicated work and extensive research of UNICEF Country Offices. We hope that sharing the CFT will assist you in creating a Child Friendly Technology project that leaves a lasting impact.

This document outlines Bucks County Community College's OER Strategic Initiative to transition 10 gateway courses from traditional textbooks to open educational resources. In 2014, Victoria University of Wellington began a project to replace the existing data integration system between the Student Information System (Banner) and Blackboard.A project that touches an institution's Student Information System and Learning Management System will always have its own special challenges. Victoria University of Wellington made use of Blackboard's SIS Integration Mentoring service to help tackle some of the thorny issues and assist with the implementation. As well as challenges, the project provided important opportunities to engage with stakeholders, refine existing processes, and improve the quality of the integration between the systems with a view to future developments. This presentation will cover the goals and outcomes, the different stages of the project, and how we overcame some of the more difficult implementation and organisational issues, without delving too deeply into the specific technical details.

Preparing faculty for change in learning management systems

zkStudyClub - LatticeFold: A Lattice-based Folding Scheme and its Application...
Folding is a recent technique for building efficient recursive SNARKs. Several elegant folding protocols have been proposed, such as Nova, Supernova, Hypernova, Protostar, and others. However, all of them rely on an additively homomorphic commitment scheme based on discrete log, and are therefore not post-quantum secure. In this work we present LatticeFold, the first lattice-based folding protocol based on the Module SIS problem. This folding protocol naturally leads to an efficient recursive lattice-based SNARK and an efficient PCD scheme. LatticeFold supports folding low-degree relations, such as R1CS, as well as high-degree relations, such as CCS. The key challenge is to construct a secure folding protocol that works with the Ajtai commitment scheme. The difficulty, is ensuring that extracted witnesses are low norm through many rounds of folding. We present a novel technique using the sumcheck protocol to ensure that extracted witnesses are always low norm no matter how many rounds of folding are used. Our evaluation of the final proof system suggests that it is as performant as Hypernova, while providing post-quantum security.

Products Exercises After each session, students prepare an exercise, applying the results of the session to their own ideas of irrigation system design in relation to scientific papers provided as study material. Details of each exercise are given on the discussion board in Blackboard. Design assignment Focus is on designing a simple irrigation system consisting of (1) a main canal grid for irrigation and drainage, (2) control structures and (3) one detailed typical secondary and tertiary unit. A simple hydraulic model is used, in which disturbances can be analyzed. Based on this modelling, the designer evaluates the design made. The detailed assignment is given in a separate document. - 7. Assessment Final mark Both the final design exercise and the final exam contribute 50% of the final mark. Please note that it is obligatory to provide all the homework products before the deadlines given. The homework products are included in setting the mark for the final design.
