This document lists and briefly describes 18 digital tools for design research across four categories: remote research platforms, feedback and insights tools with a qualitative focus, feedback and insights tools with a quantitative focus, and synthesis and collaboration tools. Some of the tools mentioned include Dscout and UserTesting for moderated and unmoderated user research, Hotjar for combining feedback and analytics, Miro and Mural for online collaboration, and Notion for organizing and sharing research results. The document encourages keeping steady in user research and notes that UX professionals can be detectives, scientists, designers, and most importantly, researchers of human goals and needs.
