MindCanvas is an online user research tool that uses game-like methods to collect design feedback from users. It aims to make the research process more engaging for users and provide intuitive visualizations and analysis for designers. Some key features include game-like surveys that are more fun for users to complete, rapid turnaround of large-sample quantitative data in visualizations that help prioritize features, and methods that explore users' unconscious preferences and mental models. The tool is still in development but offers techniques like OpenSort, TreeSort, and interactive visualizations to help with tasks like information architecture testing.
