18 Steps of Service
Incredible Service starts with our passion for delivering a dining experience beyond our guest
expectations. We are professionals that anticipate our guest’s every need; we provide seamless
service and leave no detail of caring to chance. Here at Anson 11 we offer a “Limo Ride of
Service”; it is accomplished in the following ways:
1. Smile
2. Say hello to any new guest: say good bye and thank you to any guest leaving
3. Greet the table as the guest arrives (Be enthusiastic! The Limo Ride starts here!)
4. Pull the chairs out for each guest
5. Serve beverages (SUGGESTIVE SELLING unless it is a bottle of water, or paired with another
beverage WATERS SHOULD NEVER BE SOLD!)
6. Offer 2 appetizers to start with (Pick your favorites!)
7. Bring appetizers to table (Serve from the LEFT), fill any drinks you may need to!!!
8. “2 Bites or 2 Minutes”, offer to take Entrée order (Offer help with menu)
9. Clear Appetizers, appetizer plates (ALWAYS FROM THE RIGHT!), and drop any requisites for
their Entrée (steak knives, etc.)
10. Bring Entrees to table (Serve from the LEFT), with any requisites of the dinner! (Fresh ground
Parmesan, Black Pepper, etc.)
11. “2 Bites or 2 Minutes”
12. ¾ of the way through dinner – Desert Presentation – Desert Drink offering!
13. If applicable – “2 Bites of 2 Minutes”
14. Clear plates and silverware from the right of the guest
15. CONSTANTLY Pre-Bus your table! – Bussers/Back waiters are here to help not do your job!
16. Ask guest if they are ready for Check – Present Check
17. Take Payment – NEVER ask if they would like their change, the guest will imply if they will or
not! If they don’t proper change should ALWAYS be brought out to the guest!!!
