3. The Checklist
• The checklist used was William’s
textbook evaluation checklist.
• The chapters were divided into
sections – The checklist also divided
into sections - it is easier to do
evaluation.
• Each sections in the checklist have
further specification to help us
identify the requirement of the book.
4. • We encountered some difficult terms
– hard to understand the criteria.
• The rating system is a bit difficult to
use.
• It have too specific criterias – some
of the criteria are not fulfilled
because of the content of the book is
too short.
5. The Book
• Both chapters are not arranged in a
well manner.
• The book also integrate usage of side
material and make it hard to do
evaluation – part of the section are
not clear.
• The content of each aspect is too
short and brief – several criteria in the
checklist are not fulfilled
6. Solutions Taken
• We refer to the content list of the
book – have specification for the
chapters.
• We evaluate according – only
evaluate the criteria available.
7. Conclusion
• The checklist is appropriable for the
teacher – even unexperienced
teacher can do evaluation because
the checklist have focuses.
• However, they need to take some
time to understand the checklist and
how to applied it to do evaluation.
