Auditing & ContractorManagement
Completion of various auditing courses equipped me with the skills and knowledge required to effectively
conduct RTIO internal, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM) and Contractor

My role includedconductingscheduledinternal auditstoensure compliance toRTIOstandardsviathe HSEQ
Audit tools and to manage or provide support to the Contractor Group in responding to ‘areas for

Working in a consultancy capacity, I completed audits and GAP Analysis reviewsof various companies to
identify non-conformance areas and develop actions to ensure corporate compliance, including the
development of the audit templates aligned to 22 Major Hazard Standards for Sons of Gwalia.
I have a clear understanding of the technical requirements for the development of safety management
systems through tertiary education in Occupational Health and Safety as well as a ‘hands on approach’ to
successfully manage and prepare major contractor groups to meet both RTIO Contractor Management
System compliance and qualification requirements. This required tender documentation and Safety Health
Management Plan reviews to ensure consistency and alignment to Rio Tinto’s HSEQ Management System
