Siemens runs an apprenticeship program in Berlin that trains 111 apprentices from 19 European countries over 3.5 years. The program includes classroom instruction, lab work, and on-the-job training. Apprentices learn electrical/electronics and mechatronics skills. They work on projects with German apprentices and gain experience at Siemens divisions in Berlin and Siemens companies in their home countries. Upon completing the program, apprentices receive a recognized German certificate and the opportunity to work at Siemens companies.
