This weekly report summarizes the progress of an engineering student group working on an air purifier product. The group focused this week on circuit functions and remote control. The student is interested in using LEDs for the screen and provided definitions of LED and LCD technologies. This week we focus on the circuit and function that is about quantity of buttons which
use for its function, and this device has remote control too.
I am interested in LED for using in the screen of the air purifier.
LED >> Light Emitting Diode << that is a semiconductor which emits incoherent
narrow-spectum light when the junction forward bias
LCD >> Liquid crystal display << that is the technology which use many tiny cells to
opem and close shutters. When the shutter is open, the lightcan pass .

Strong Point
- LEDs have many types and we can select more than LCD.
- LEDs can be easy to put this component on PCB.
- LCDs can do in any size or shape.
Weak Point
- LCD is more difficult than LED.
- If we want to choose LCD for our device, we will learn more about it.
