Reflections
Emotions and moods in an organization can cause problems for decision-making, the relationship between business ethics and social responsibility, and organizational ethics (Peltokorpi, 2020). The moral philosophy or orientation of an organization is its way of relating to individuals and the world. In the business world, business is measured by its ability to meet customer needs and profit objectives. An organization's moral philosophy tells how it views its responsibilities and views the moral principles that guide it. For example, an organization might have a moral philosophy of honesty and fairness. Personality and values in an organization may be very different from what they are within the company. If there is resentment against the hierarchical structure, this resentment may extend well beyond the people within the organization. Perhaps the person is trying to achieve a different kind of success within the organization, and the organization has become too hierarchical. Perhaps this person would like to find a different organization if possible. The final type of organizational conflict that is likely to occur is when the two organizational forces compete for resources in a marketplace (Radic et al., 2020).

Emotional regulation is also associated with poor health. Advertisers have a duty to their clients to promote ethical behavior. Ethical decisions are made as individuals, with ethical philosophies formed by specific values and as a collective. Advertisements can provide feedback to values, worldviews, and even the nature of reality itself. Therefore, the ad maker must provide various examples that will challenge the worldview and assumptions of advertising to create awareness (Radic et al., 2020). Mood changes throughout the day can be observed using a bright light source or microphone or using a timer operated by remote control. food, and that this tends to occur. There is not much evidence to
suggest that this is a function of the actual number of hours in
3. the day. The conclusion is that, although advertising does
involve an element of advertising, it is more concerned with the
process of buying and using a product than with the means used
to persuade others to do something for the brand or some
product. Advertising, also called a direct response, marketing,
and public relations, is undertaken to generate and increase
customer awareness through advertising (Robbins & Judge,
2018).

Weekly Instructional Materials/Resources
The following links are the resources that you need to review
and will likely access multiple times throughout this course and
as a student in general. The first link is a set of video tutorials
that explains how to do APA Format when writing a paper, how
to complete in-text citation, and how to complete a reference
list with full citations. The next link is your textbook, followed
by a citation tool website that creates full citations for you. I
have also included a direct link to Google Scholar. Google
Scholar should be used when you are online researching articles
and information to support your discussions.
*The video below includes the title for a different course, but
the information is the same. Watch the video before starting the

Week 1 Assignment
24 points
5. Learning Objectives
· Explain the role marketing plays in individual firms and
society as a whole.
· Understand and outline the elements of a marketing plan as a
planning process
Instructions
Every week you will be asked to reflect and respond in
a Discussion Board forum. Your contribution to the topic should
be clear, complete, and accurate. This assignment also requires
that you read the answers posted by your classmates and
respond to at least one of those postings. You are required to
meet the following guidelines.
· Develop a detailed response using APA format (in-text
citation, reference list) and utilizing at least one credible
resource.
· Post your initial response by Friday, August 20th by 11:59pm
· Post feedback responding to a classmates post by Sunday,
August 22nd by 11:59pm
After completing the assigned readings (Chapter 1: What is
Marketing) answer the following discussion questions.
1. Compare and contrast the Four Ps approach to marketing
versus the Value Approach (creating, communicating, and
delivering value). What would you expect to be the same and
what would you expect to be different between two companies
that apply one or the other approach?
2. This chapter addresses several reasons why marketing is an
important area of study. Should marketing be required for all
college students, no matter their major? Why or why not?

Reflection
Emotions and moods in an organization and gain a greater
understanding of an individual's actions and decisions. The
brainstorming technique of RCT is also beneficial in
understanding how individuals' personal and collective values
and intentions contribute to their decisions and how those
values and intentions are reflected in the decision-making
process. Research also demonstrates that the brainstorming
technique can help employees and managers evaluate other
people's intentions and predict whether another person's
intentions will be towards them. How people work in the
organization is shaped by personality and values(Gaucher et al.,
2021). Dissimilarity analysis is a type of process that can help
to identify the essential differences between two members of a
family. It is an excellent method for identifying areas that need
to be worked on by family members. The next section of this
explains how to conduct an effective and efficient dissimilarity
analysis. When members of a family interact formally or
informally and make different choices and behave in different
ways. To the extent that family members can change their
behavior to improve a situation, the behavior can be
dysfunctional(Hu et al., 2020).
Discussion
7. Emotional regulation must be resisted and eliminated.
Individuals who seek pleasure or engage in any other action that
harms others in their personal or group relationships, regardless
of whether the activity itself is right or wrong, must be aware of
the consequences of their actions(Gaucher et al., 2021). An
essential element in maintaining ethical compliance recognizes
when the consequences of an action are severe or intolerable
and must be corrected before further(Hu et al., 2020).
Consequences occur. The final component in this analysis is the
loss that results from inappropriate trade-offs, including those
resulting from the use of substitutes for biofuels. The two
primary components of emotional regulation are cognitive
control and effective control. Cognitive control refers to the
ability to process information and apply it to make decisions,
while affective control refers to the ability to interpret and
respond. Cognitive control involves understanding and applying
information, while affective control involves interpreting and
reacting appropriately. Cognitive, affective, and behavioral
control are different. As a child, a person's level of risk
awareness is a function of many different factors, and this level
of risk awareness is much higher in an adult. The degree of
maturity and the amount of personal experience and education
of the individual determine how mature the individual is and the
degree of risk awareness has concerning the organization's risk
policies (Kampf et al., 2021).The mood one should regress
using dummy variables for day of the week, gender, income,
and whether the experimenter is a friend or foe of the subjects.
Of interest is the interaction term between the two variables.
The interaction term indicates that higher income days are
associated with more negative moods and vice versa. These
results are consistent with theoretical predictions. When people
in the best institutions do not think about what they are doing
the right things, they do not listen to their bosses, leading to
bad business decisions (Robbins & Judge, 2018).
