The document discusses the aims and activities of Work Package 3 (WP3), which focuses on training material and methods for vocational education and training of wind technicians in various European countries. WP3 plans to (1) research existing training materials and methods used across Europe, (2) provide advice on adapting materials between countries, and (3) adapt, test and update materials towards common European standards. 2. WP3- Training material and methods
Aims
• Carrying out research concerning existing training materials and
methods, including workshop design and equipment used for VET of
wind technicians in various European countries.
• Providing advice on adaptation and transfer of materials.
• Adapting, testing and updating existing training materials, methods
& approaches towards the national training systems and languages.

3. WP3- Training material and methods
Activities
• Translation of descriptions of existing national and local training
materials and methods to English.
• Analyzing, discuss and compare the translated material, including
material from other EU projects such as e-WindTech and Power
Cluster, and if available - also comparative material used in US and
other non-European nations.

4. WP3- Training material and methods
Activies
• Transfer, adjusting and adapting training materials and methods to
each national level, both between projects partners as internal
transfer, and to stakeholders outside the partnership as external
transfer, with the aim of normalizing the training materials and
methods towards common European standards.

Activities
• Developing and testing new materials and methods where this is
suited / necessary, including distance learning and e-learning
elements.
• Collect relevant digital training material - both internal and external,
and distribute this through the project open accessible website.
