LtCol Andrew Gordon proposes an improved field Resuscitation and Assessment Post (RAP) based on a box trailer. The RAP-mobile aims to be more mobile, require less time from required care to starting patient care, involve less double handling, be air portable, independent, flexible, simple, and conform to military medical doctrine. It is designed with practical loading, priorities of medical equipment, and considerations for air transport and casualty handling. The RAP-mobile has undergone engineering improvements and is ready for field testing, with the goal of developing a standardized, logistically sound mobile field medical unit.
