Student Announcementfor the Fall 2011 Credit by Examination As specified on page 16 of the Samuel Clemens Student/Parent Handbook, credits required for graduation may be earned through Credit by Examination. Credit by Examination for the Fall semester will be offered after school on November 16, and December 1st and 8th. A grade of 90 must be achieved to receive Credit by Examination. The registration deadline for Credit by Examination is Monday October 17th. TODAY Registration forms, which require a parent’s signature, are available in the Counselors’ Office. Service Academy Deadlines SENIORS— Congressman Lamar Smith has a deadline of October 22, 2011 for students who wish to compete for a nomination to one of the four United States Service Academies (WestPoint, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Merchant Marine Academy).
