about the previous day work regarding number of cases examined

there is any change in the schedule.
Then imaging meeting in which a radiology consultant is the head
of meeting and all staff of orthopedic unit are present then we
discuss cases will operate that day, cases operated day before.

I have one day night shift .I am always was available to
any emergency operation.

Khoula Hospital is a secondary care hospital for Muscat Region and
tertiary care hospital for the country for Orthopedics, Neuro Surgery,
Plastic surgery and Burns. It is 517 bedded hospital and the National
trauma centre. It has total staff strength of 1781. It also serves as a
teaching hospital for medical students of Sultan Qaboos University,
Oman Medical College, Oman Specialty Board doctors, paramedical
and nursing students. Clinical departments are well assisted by
various supportive services.
I work over 2 year in both trauma and spine unit
Work with great Dr K.V Menon, senior spine consultant, AO spine
trust in Asia.
Have responsibility and duty in form of:
1-Responsible for management different trauma case according to
ATLF and AO principles with doing their definitive management. I
am Able to handle extremely stressful and high pressures situations
in trauma and mass injury cases.
2- Responsible of orthopedics clinic 3 days /week where I can
assess and management different types of orthopedic disease .also
involve follow up of trauma patients. Treating most muscle and
skeletal problems including arthritis, congenital deformities, or
trauma injuries. And provide medical care by performing physical
exams, designing treatment and therapeutic plans, and keeping track
of patient progress to determine what needs to be done.
3- Responsible for spine clinic and management (include injection
and surgical technique).
4-Assessment of different cases and operates under supervision for
different cases of arthroplasty and deformity correction.
5- Assessment of different cases and operates for different cases of
sport injury and associate deformity correction.
6- Assessment of different cases and operates for different cases of
pediatric orthopedic and associate deformity correction such as TEV.

7. 7-I work under supervision of great Dr K.V MENON, AO SPINE

8- Close follow up inpatient cases even out of my duty time.
9- Teach the undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and

treatment of acute medical admissions with an average “take” of 30-
35 patients per day. I encountered a broad range of medical
conditions and became confident with the management of medical
emergencies. I also had frequent experience in acting as member of
the cardiac arrest team, and performing supervised outpatient
surgical procedures like stitching and polytraumatized patient.
