Gerry and Trish visited a village in Nepal that was devastated by an earthquake. They were impressed by a Women's Group that aimed to end child marriage, keep children in school, address domestic violence, and put wives' names on property. The group collects money weekly and does small projects to earn income, as there is no social welfare system. A woman from an untouchable caste was elected to the group and later became a government minister. Another boy who left school young is now in education to become a teacher, thanks to a Children's Group. Gerry and Trish hope to fundraise to build new classrooms for girls' education in the local school.
