Disclaimer: I think this is correct, and it does work in the mind, but it has not yet been exhaustively proven.
On the 16th
, I melted the tip of the handle, of the steel spoon. I have trialled melting, the tip of the handle of a stainless
steel spoon, twice. The first time I melted the handle of the steel spoon, I looked for evidence of melting. I knew which
side of the handle, that I had melted (the right side). On the back of the tip of the handle, there were two side grooves.
The left side groove, was smoothed, near the tip. The smoothed part, was measured by eye, and it was 1mm in length.
Then, I melted the tip of the handle, of the steel spoon, again. The smoothed part, was measured by eye, and it became
2mm in length. The steel spoon was melted, with a blue stove flame, over a few seconds.
Before I melted the steel spoon, one of my voices (he says he’s Johan Schubitz, but I have no idea whether that’s his real
name) said that if the spoon contained chrome, it would explode. (???) I must admit, I got around his objection, by
talking about how water and high temperatures, were regularly encountered in the kitchen. Also, I remembered that
chrome plated stoves, were around. (???) That was at the limit, of my memory. He said, that chrome was
indistinguishable, from steel. (???) I was all for, observing the surface of the stainless steel spoon, but that did not turn
out, to be necessary. The other experiment (which was not a mind experiment), which proved that spoons were safe
with a flame, was when I heated paper, on a spoon, over a bunsen flame, at school.
My main regret, was that I didn’t take a photo, as I have not yet, asked my mum (Sally Xiaofang Zuo), whether I can use
her digital camera. Ah, but you see, I can take a photo with my phone. The voice Microsoft, says to use the digital
camera. Perhaps the tech giant, is worried that digital cameras, will be endangered.
I did also come up with an equation, whilst I was preparing to melt steel. It was, pressure times temperature, equals
moulding. Any increase in temperature, amplifies the effect of applied pressure, and changes the shape of the steel.
I also drew diagrams, of a steelworks factory, yesterday (on the 17th
). One of my voices, (Johan Schubitz), says that dried
flour dough, is fine to hold melting steel. I must admit, this is somewhat of a conundrum. I have heated a dried flour
dough cube, on a candle flame, for a few seconds, and it didn’t brown markedly, but you see, surely over time, it gets
blackened. Right? Like a stove pot. I was thinking about clay. See, that goes into bricks. I was thinking, a clay pot was a
better idea, than a dried flour dough pot. See, a clay pot, contains minerals. I should really get to The Works. Anyway,
this event is currently in the typing up stage, but there will be more work on ACMJ, later on. So, I am going to need the
clay, at some point. See, a clay pot, gets fired, and survives very well, in the kiln. For hours. Is this steady state, enough
to melt steel? I must admit, maybe you just melt it slightly, mould it back into shape, and see if it looks new again,
maybe there’s no need to turn it into liquid. Right? I have a feeling, that I need the clay. Wait, bread dough does survive,
for an hour, at 200 degrees Centigrade (you know, in the oven). Alright. I must admit, maybe Johan Schubitz is correct.
Maybe 200 degrees for an hour, is enough to make a nail shiny again. I don’t know yet.
The whole reason I wanted to draw diagrams, of a steelworks factory, was that I wanted to scale up the melting of steel.
When I was younger, mum told me a story of when she left a dry pot on a stove flame, and then it developed a hole. So
you see, an ordinary stove flame, is hot enough, to melt (maybe it was just aluminium). I mean, in slightly bigger
quantities. I think, on Sunday, I did melt 1mm cubed, of steel. I think, if you heat steel, and hit it, that might decrease the
need, for it to be molten, in a clay mould. Well, that is what the mediaeval smiths, did. You see, there is a very large
flame, every year in Nottingham, on Bonfire Night. I don’t think, anyone has done an experiment with it, yet. Johan
Schubtiz said, I would be suprised. I mean, in my other mind work, on melting glass, I have mentioned it before, to my
team. Well you see, Perilicious does have a large flame. Maybe we should buy something from an Indian restaurant, and

use their flame. See, that’s at roughly a constant temperature. I must admit, I’m going to struggle to do that at home.
Dad (Yimin Liu) did burn some paper, yesterday, in a large can, but you see, I have no idea how he did that, without
burning his hand.
