This document outlines criteria for acceptable reduction of forearm fractures, including considerations like angular/rotational deformities, age, and location of the fracture. For patients under 9 years old, complete displacement or angulation under 15 degrees and malrotation under 45 degrees are considered acceptable. For older patients, malrotation under 30 degrees and angulation under 10-15 degrees depending on fracture location are acceptable. Complete bayonet apposition may also be acceptable if certain criteria are met. Rockwood and Wilkins provide additional guidelines for acceptable angulation based on fracture location.
