1. X (24 July 1783 – 17 December 1830), was a
Venezuelan military and political leader. X played a
key role in Latin America's successful struggle for
independence from the Spanish Empire, and is today
considered one of the most influential politicians in
the history of the Americas.
Two South American nations have been named after
X. Also one can find busts of X in four capital cities
of Latin America.
In July 2010, X's body was ordered to be exhumed
to advance investigations to fathom out the cause of
his death. In July 2011, international forensics
experts released their report claiming that there was
no proof of poisoning or other unnatural cause of
death.
Identify X.

2. “X" is a song by Neil Young from his 1975 album, Zuma.
It was recorded with Young's band Crazy Horse and
ranked #39 on Guitar World's 100 Greatest Guitar Solos
and #321 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs
of All Time.
The song is about a notorious(at least in those parts)
conquistador who conquered Mexico for Spain in the 16th
century. “X" also makes reference to the Aztec ruler
Moctezuma II and other events that occurred in the
Spanish conquest of the New World.
According to Young himself, this song was banned in
Spain under Francisco Franco for openly criticising the
conquistador and Spain’s brutal massacre of thousands.
Identify the song.

3. The assassination was pretty well planned. It took place in the city of
Sarajevo. X and his wife Sophie had been in the city for the inauguration of
a hospital. The conspirators were seven in total. But the initial attempt to
bomb X’s car failed.
Later when X and his wife were returning after the inauguration, one of the
conspirators Y noticed that the driver had taken wrong turn and while
reversing the car the gearbox stuck and the car came to a halt. Y seized this
opportunity, stepped forward, drew his pistol (Belgium M 1910 .32 ACP
Semi-Auto][23]), and at a distance of about 1.5 m (five feet), fired twice into
the car. X was hit in the neck and Sophie (who instinctively covered X's body
with her own after the first shot) in the abdomen. They both died before
11:00 am.
Identify X, Y and what was the immediate effect of this event.

4. Following the trial, he was dragged from the Hall to the The Tower of London,
then stripped naked and dragged through the city by horses. Then he was
strangled by hanging but released while he was still alive, emasculated,
eviscerated, had his bowels burnt before him, beheaded and finally his body was
segregated into four parts. Later his head was put on a pike.
Just identify the gentleman who had to go through such a gruesome ending to a
“rebellious life”.
Hint : Think of a 1994 movie which won the Best Director Academy Award.
Sir William Wallace
The movie is Braveheart.
5.The person shown is X (27 November 1888 – 27 February
1956) popularly known as Dadasaheb. X an independence
activist, the President (from 1946 to 1947) of the Central
Legislative Assembly, then Speaker of the Constituent
Assembly of India, and later the first Speaker of the
Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India.
Now he came up with a rule back then which caused much
controversy in recent times (2014 to be specific).
Identify X and tell me what rule did he come up with.
X – Ganesh Vasudev Mavalankar
The rule was that for any party to hold the position of Leader of Opposition it
should at least have 10% of the total no. of seats in the Lok Sabha. Currently it
amounts to 55 seats.

7. The X is a colloquial expression derived from historical maritime
usage, in which it refers to those parts of the Atlantic Ocean and the
Pacific Ocean affected by the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone, a low-
pressure area around the equator where the prevailing winds are calm.
The low pressure is caused by the centrifugal force from the rotation
movement of the Earth which is most important at the equator, which
makes the air rise and travel north and south high in the atmosphere,
until it subsides again in the horse latitudes. Some of that air returns to
the doldrums through the trade winds. The X are also noted for calm
periods when the winds disappear altogether, trapping sail-powered
boats for periods of days or weeks. The term appears to have arisen in
the 18th century – when cross-Equator sailing voyages became more
common.
Colloquially, the “X" are a state of inactivity, mild depression,
listlessness or stagnation.
The Pacific X were described in Y’s famous poem ‘Z’ which is also the
name of a famous song by the British heavy metal band ‘W’.

8. The Movie X (now a trilogy) created by Y , is actually a complete rip-off of the
Graphic Novel "The Invisibles" created by the legendary British writer Grant
Morrison. Even one of the main characters in the movie was made to look
shockingly like the one from the Graphic Novel. The Invisibles is a comic book series
that was published by the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics from 1994 to 2000. It was
created and scripted by British writer Grant Morrison. The plot follows a secret
organization battling against physical and psychic oppression For most of the series,
the team includes leader King Mob; Lord Fanny, a transgender Brazilian shaman;
Boy, a former member of the NYPD; Ragged Robin, a telepath with a mysterious
past; and Jack Frost, a young hooligan from Liverpool who may be the next Buddha.
Their enemies are the Archons of Outer Church, alien gods who have already
enslaved most of the human race without their knowledge. (images on next slide)

9.X (used as a mass noun) is a loosely associated international network of
activist and hacktivist entities. A website nominally associated with the
group describes it as "an internet gathering" with "a very loose and
decentralized command structure that operates on ideas rather than
directives". The group became known for a series of well-publicized
publicity stunts and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on
government, religious, and corporate websites. Later targets of
Anonymous hacktivism included government agencies of the US, Israel,
Tunisia, Uganda, and others; child pornography sites; copyright
protection agencies; the Westboro Baptist Church; and corporations such
as PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Sony and Reliance.

10. After struggling with the now infamous 'Singin' in the Rain' scene in
X -- Y deemed the scene too conventional -- he asked for McDowell's
input. He began spontaneously dancing, and 'Singin' in the Rain' was the
only song he could recall the words to. Y loved it, and proceeded to buy
the rights to the tune for $10,000. Years later at a social gathering,
McDowell was snubbed by Gene Kelly, who strongly disapproved of the
use of his iconic song.

12. Early in 2005, school officials in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province (People's
Republic of China), banned X. The ban was designed to protect the "physical and mental health"
of students from horror material that "misleads innocent children and distorts their mind and
spirit." Jonathan Clements has suggested that the Chinese authorities acted partly against
"superstition" but also against illegal, pirate publishers of X. The ban has been extended to other
Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Lanzhou in Gansu Province.[96] Legally
published Chinese-language versions of X are published in Hong Kong and in Taiwan
There have been various copycat crimes around the world which were based on X on September
28, 2007. The case has been called the "Mangamoord" in Belgian media. It was not until 2010
that four people were arrested in connection to the murder.

14. Once in Russia, X was invited to the Moscow Central Chess Club, where he played speed chess with "two young
Soviet masters", Evgeni Vasiukov and Alexander Nikitin, winning every game. Chess author V. I. Linder writes about
the impression X gave grandmaster Vladimir Alatortsev when he played blitz against the Soviet masters: "Back in
1958, in the Central Chess Club, Vladimir Alatortsev saw a tall, angular 15-year-old youth, who in blitz games, crushed
almost everyone who crossed his path... Alatortsev was no exception, losing all three games. He was astonished by the
play of X, his fantastic self-confidence, amazing chess erudition and simply brilliant play! On arriving home, Vladimir
said in admiration to his wife: 'This is the future world champion!'"
In the 1990s, X patented a modified chess timing system (which added a time increment after each move; now a
standard practice in top tournament and match play) and created a new variant of chess called Y (Chess960). Name X
and the chess-variant Y.

15. X is a 2006 British-American Y- comedy film directed by Larry Charles and distributed by 20th Century Fox.
After the film's release, Dharma Arthur, a news producer for WAPT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi, wrote a letter to Newsweek
saying that X appearance on the station had led to her losing her job: "Because of him, my boss lost faith in my abilities and
second-guessed everything I did thereafter …”
Bobby Rowe, Of Virginia rodeo depicted in the film, provided background on how he had become the victim of a hoax. He
said that "months" prior to the appearance, he had been approached by someone from "One America, a California-based film
company that was reportedly doing a documentary on a Russian immigrant"; he agreed to permit the "immigrant" to sing the
U.S. national anthem after listening to a tape.
Two of the University of South Carolina fraternity brothers who appeared in the film, Justin Seay and Christopher Rotunda,
sued the producers, claiming defamation.

17. Instance from Orwell's Animal Farm- "Although the animals assume that the apples will be shared out equally, the Xs
take all the apples and milk for themselves. The Xs do not acknowledge that they are being greedy, but say that they are
taking the apples and milk for the good of the other animals, because it is important that they remain in good health to
manage the farm."
Bricktop from the Guy Ritchie movie "SNATCH"- "I hear the best thing to do is feed them to X. You got to starve the X for
a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your
victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the Xs' digestion. They will go through bone like butter. You need at least
sixteen Xs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a X farm. They will go through a body that
weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single X can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every
minute. Hence the expression, ______.
X –PIGS
PHRASE – “AS GREEDY AS A PIG”
18. The word "X" is believed to be first used in 1970 to describe an article by Y, who later popularized the style. It is an
energetic first-person participatory writing style in which the author is a protagonist, and it draws its power from a
combination of both social critique and self-satire. It has since been applied to other subjective artistic endeavors. X is
basically a journalistic style. Y has also written the famous work Z which is rooted in autobiographical incidents. Z is a

19. X is an American computer security consultant, author and hacker.
In 1999, he was convicted of various computer and communications-
related crimes. At the time of his arrest, he was the most-wanted
computer criminal by the FBI. He now runs a security firm , LLC that
helps test a company's security strengths and weaknesses, and is the
Chief Hacking Officer of security awareness training company
KnowBe4. It has wrongly been said that X could launch the US nuclear
missiles by whistling into a payphone.
He went to jail for nothing more than copying software, but was
"convicted" by the media both for breaking into NORAD as well as
causing millions of dollars in damage to a software-company. This lead
to the Y movement, who tried to stop the making of a film about X
based on the media's lies. Members of the movement went ahead
with a series of systematic hacks to take down everyone involved in
the arrest of X.

20. The term X basically describes a describes a nightmarish situation which most people can somehow relate
to, although strongly surreal. With an ethereal, "evil", omnipotent power floating just beyond the senses.
Characters in a X- setting often lack a clear course of action to escape a labyrinthine situation. X- elements
often appear in existential works, but the term has transcended the literary realm to apply to real-life
occurrences and situations that are incomprehensibly complex, bizarre, or illogical. The term X has been
derived from a legendary german writer Y born and raised in Prague whose works are filled with the themes
and archetypes of alienation, physical and psychological brutality, parent–child conflict, characters on a
terrifying quest, labyrinths of bureaucracy, and mystical transformations.

  • 3. 1. X (24 July 1783 – 17 December 1830), was a Venezuelan military and political leader. X played a key role in Latin America's successful struggle for independence from the Spanish Empire, and is today considered one of the most influential politicians in the history of the Americas. Two South American nations have been named after X. Also one can find busts of X in four capital cities of Latin America. In July 2010, X's body was ordered to be exhumed to advance investigations to fathom out the cause of his death. In July 2011, international forensics experts released their report claiming that there was no proof of poisoning or other unnatural cause of death. Identify X.

  • 6. 2. “X" is a song by Neil Young from his 1975 album, Zuma. It was recorded with Young's band Crazy Horse and ranked #39 on Guitar World's 100 Greatest Guitar Solos and #321 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. The song is about a notorious(at least in those parts) conquistador who conquered Mexico for Spain in the 16th century. “X" also makes reference to the Aztec ruler Moctezuma II and other events that occurred in the Spanish conquest of the New World. According to Young himself, this song was banned in Spain under Francisco Franco for openly criticising the conquistador and Spain’s brutal massacre of thousands. Identify the song.

  • 9. 3. The assassination was pretty well planned. It took place in the city of Sarajevo. X and his wife Sophie had been in the city for the inauguration of a hospital. The conspirators were seven in total. But the initial attempt to bomb X’s car failed. Later when X and his wife were returning after the inauguration, one of the conspirators Y noticed that the driver had taken wrong turn and while reversing the car the gearbox stuck and the car came to a halt. Y seized this opportunity, stepped forward, drew his pistol (Belgium M 1910 .32 ACP Semi-Auto][23]), and at a distance of about 1.5 m (five feet), fired twice into the car. X was hit in the neck and Sophie (who instinctively covered X's body with her own after the first shot) in the abdomen. They both died before 11:00 am. Identify X, Y and what was the immediate effect of this event.

Then he was strangled by hanging but released while he was still alive, emasculated, eviscerated, had his bowels burnt before him, beheaded and finally his body was segregated into four parts. Later his head was put on a pike. Just identify the gentleman who had to go through such a gruesome ending to a “rebellious life”. Hint : Think of a 1994 movie which won the Best Director Academy Award.

  • 21. 7. The X is a colloquial expression derived from historical maritime usage, in which it refers to those parts of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean affected by the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone, a low- pressure area around the equator where the prevailing winds are calm. The low pressure is caused by the centrifugal force from the rotation movement of the Earth which is most important at the equator, which makes the air rise and travel north and south high in the atmosphere, until it subsides again in the horse latitudes. Some of that air returns to the doldrums through the trade winds. The X are also noted for calm periods when the winds disappear altogether, trapping sail-powered boats for periods of days or weeks. The term appears to have arisen in the 18th century – when cross-Equator sailing voyages became more common. Colloquially, the “X" are a state of inactivity, mild depression, listlessness or stagnation. The Pacific X were described in Y’s famous poem ‘Z’ which is also the name of a famous song by the British heavy metal band ‘W’. Solve for all the variables.

  • 24. 8. The Movie X (now a trilogy) created by Y , is actually a complete rip-off of the Graphic Novel "The Invisibles" created by the legendary British writer Grant Morrison. Even one of the main characters in the movie was made to look shockingly like the one from the Graphic Novel. The Invisibles is a comic book series that was published by the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics from 1994 to 2000. It was created and scripted by British writer Grant Morrison. The plot follows a secret organization battling against physical and psychic oppression For most of the series, the team includes leader King Mob; Lord Fanny, a transgender Brazilian shaman; Boy, a former member of the NYPD; Ragged Robin, a telepath with a mysterious past; and Jack Frost, a young hooligan from Liverpool who may be the next Buddha. Their enemies are the Archons of Outer Church, alien gods who have already enslaved most of the human race without their knowledge. (images on next slide) Id, X and Y.

  • 28. 9.X (used as a mass noun) is a loosely associated international network of activist and hacktivist entities. A website nominally associated with the group describes it as "an internet gathering" with "a very loose and decentralized command structure that operates on ideas rather than directives". The group became known for a series of well-publicized publicity stunts and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on government, religious, and corporate websites. Later targets of Anonymous hacktivism included government agencies of the US, Israel, Tunisia, Uganda, and others; child pornography sites; copyright protection agencies; the Westboro Baptist Church; and corporations such as PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Sony and Reliance. He began spontaneously dancing, and 'Singin' in the Rain' was the only song he could recall the words to. Y loved it, and proceeded to buy the rights to the tune for $10,000. Years later at a social gathering, McDowell was snubbed by Gene Kelly, who strongly disapproved of the use of his iconic song. Id X and Y

The ban was designed to protect the "physical and mental health" of students from horror material that "misleads innocent children and distorts their mind and spirit." Jonathan Clements has suggested that the Chinese authorities acted partly against "superstition" but also against illegal, pirate publishers of X. The ban has been extended to other Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Lanzhou in Gansu Province.[96] Legally published Chinese-language versions of X are published in Hong Kong and in Taiwan There have been various copycat crimes around the world which were based on X on September 28, 2007. The case has been called the "Mangamoord" in Belgian media. It was not until 2010 that four people were arrested in connection to the murder.

Chess author V. I. Linder writes about the impression X gave grandmaster Vladimir Alatortsev when he played blitz against the Soviet masters: "Back in 1958, in the Central Chess Club, Vladimir Alatortsev saw a tall, angular 15-year-old youth, who in blitz games, crushed almost everyone who crossed his path... Alatortsev was no exception, losing all three games. He was astonished by the play of X, his fantastic self-confidence, amazing chess erudition and simply brilliant play! On arriving home, Vladimir said in admiration to his wife: 'This is the future world champion!'" In the 1990s, X patented a modified chess timing system (which added a time increment after each move; now a standard practice in top tournament and match play) and created a new variant of chess called Y (Chess960). Name X and the chess-variant Y.

After the film's release, Dharma Arthur, a news producer for WAPT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi, wrote a letter to Newsweek saying that X appearance on the station had led to her losing her job: "Because of him, my boss lost faith in my abilities and second-guessed everything I did thereafter …” Bobby Rowe, Of Virginia rodeo depicted in the film, provided background on how he had become the victim of a hoax. He said that "months" prior to the appearance, he had been approached by someone from "One America, a California-based film company that was reportedly doing a documentary on a Russian immigrant"; he agreed to permit the "immigrant" to sing the U.S. national anthem after listening to a tape. Two of the University of South Carolina fraternity brothers who appeared in the film, Justin Seay and Christopher Rotunda, sued the producers, claiming defamation.

The Xs do not acknowledge that they are being greedy, but say that they are taking the apples and milk for the good of the other animals, because it is important that they remain in good health to manage the farm." Bricktop from the Guy Ritchie movie "SNATCH"- "I hear the best thing to do is feed them to X. You got to starve the X for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead. You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the Xs' digestion. They will go through bone like butter. You need at least sixteen Xs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a X farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. It is an energetic first-person participatory writing style in which the author is a protagonist, and it draws its power from a combination of both social critique and self-satire. It has since been applied to other subjective artistic endeavors. X is basically a journalistic style. Y has also written the famous work Z which is rooted in autobiographical incidents. • 58. 19. X is an American computer security consultant, author and hacker. In 1999, he was convicted of various computer and communications- related crimes. At the time of his arrest, he was the most-wanted computer criminal by the FBI. He now runs a security firm , LLC that helps test a company's security strengths and weaknesses, and is the Chief Hacking Officer of security awareness training company KnowBe4. It has wrongly been said that X could launch the US nuclear missiles by whistling into a payphone. He went to jail for nothing more than copying software, but was "convicted" by the media both for breaking into NORAD as well as causing millions of dollars in damage to a software-company. This lead to the Y movement, who tried to stop the making of a film about X based on the media's lies. Members of the movement went ahead with a series of systematic hacks to take down everyone involved in the arrest of X.

  • 61. 20. The term X basically describes a describes a nightmarish situation which most people can somehow relate to, although strongly surreal. With an ethereal, "evil", omnipotent power floating just beyond the senses. Characters in a X- setting often lack a clear course of action to escape a labyrinthine situation. X- elements often appear in existential works, but the term has transcended the literary realm to apply to real-life occurrences and situations that are incomprehensibly complex, bizarre, or illogical. The term X has been derived from a legendary german writer Y born and raised in Prague whose works are filled with the themes and archetypes of alienation, physical and psychological brutality, parent–child conflict, characters on a terrifying quest, labyrinths of bureaucracy, and mystical transformations.
