This document discusses and compares traditional in-person methods of finding a romantic partner versus online dating methods. The author conducted research on previous studies about relationship success rates between the two avenues. The findings showed biases may exist in some studies funded by online dating companies. More long-term research is still needed since online dating is a new technology. The author concludes that while online dating may improve with more data over time, traditional introductions through friends currently seems to be the most reliable path to marriage based on current evidence.
