Introduction and background
Importance of the research As a marketing manager, it is important to know consumers' attitude towards a certain product which then leads to the
intension to purchase and the actual behaviour. The importance of this research is to predict intention of the behaviour, which...show more content...
Given that the research problem in this report is ambiguous, the basic research method adopted is exploratory research. The role of exploratory research
is to clarify and define a problem at the initial stage of the research. Zikmund, Ward, Lowe, Winzar and Babin (2011), suggest that exploratory research
is not intended to provide conclusive evidence and is conducted with the expectation that subsequent research will be required to provide such
conclusive evidence. Thus, exploratory research is the foundation of the research process which will lead to descriptive research, and maybe causal
research.
There are many exploratory methods that can be used to conduct research. These include field studies, action research, depth interviews, focus groups
and desk research. This exploratory research utilised one qualitative method to collect data, which will help gain an insight of the research problem
before further research is performed. The method chosen was 'in–depth interviews' which are relatively unstructured and extensive interviews in which
the interviewer asks many questions and probes for in–depth answers (Zikmund, Ward, Lowe, Winzar, & Babin; 2011). Zikmund, Ward, Lowe,
Winzar, and Babin, (2011) also suggest that there is no one perfect method which can meet all research objectives.
In–depth interviews have been conducted with four members of the public who currently live in Australia and

Statistical Review P–value (max 200)
1.Brief Overview of Study
This study investigated the relationship between arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide PaCO2 with different pulmonary illness and
neurodevelopmental impairment in premature babies. The main variable measured was the amount of PaCo2 used going from high to low, described
as Hypercapnia, Normocapnia, Hypocapnia and Fluctuators (from Hyper to Hypo) an its incidence in the Intraventricular Haemorrhage IVH.
2.Response Variable
The IVH outcome change from high to low PaCO2 concentration
3.Variable Type
Ordinal
4.Null Hypothesis (H0)
The mean outcome of IVH was the same for all groups whether or not the amount of PaCO2 was different.
5.P–Value...show more content...
As it was already known that PaCO2 is a regulator of cerebrospinal fluid it had to be inferred that higher or lower levels of it would cause negative
outcomes in the babies.
However, the current study is a secondary exploratory analysis data of the past investigation and does not participate in the dangerous procedure of
the past research. Secondary data analysis could be defined as the use of prior research data in order to answer questions that differ from the original
study (Szabo & Strang 1997). Using a secondary exploratory data analysis is a harmless methodology that allows scientists to investigate certain
anomaly with out produce damage to participants.
On the other hand, the current study does not specify if the consent of the participants was obtained. According to the British Sociological
Association's Statement of Ethical Practice (2004) consent of participants should not be asked just once but every time the data is used in other
studies. However, the ethic code maybe is not broke if it is alleged that information provided maintains the anonymity of participants. Therefore, it
cannot be said that the research failed the ethic code of research due to the lack of guide lines that regulate the use of past data in recent

Methods and Designs
Many of the research methods for which the research we have reviewed is classified as either exploratory or constructive. Rape culture, victim blaming,
and rape myths encompass more gray areas (uncertainties) than mere black (wrong) and white (right) understandings. As few of the studies specifically
sought to gain insight in what is considered consent, therefore they exploratory research wanting to purely define and identify the miscommunication
and mixed opinions of interpretations of consent, as they consider this to be a root to the problem of rape (16p.907)(8p.470)(19p.518). A couple other
studies we found went a different route and chose to test theories they had relating to rape and then went on to propose solutions...show more content...
A fair share of qualitative and quantitative research was conducted in an attempt to adequately address the specific questions that were being asked.
All of the research we reviewed used primary data and chose not to utilize secondary data to conduct their experiments, however, several of the
studies references secondary data sources when speaking of historical backgrounds of rape and in their discussions. The methods our group has
chosen to pay particular interest to are those that were used to gather data from participants at college campuses, as this is the population we wish to
further explore. Due to women of college age being at an increased risk for sexual violence, several of the studies we found pursued out this
population as well. A study conducted at James Madison University gathered their findings from a participant pool at their university using the Illinois
Rape Myth Acceptance Scale, the Modern and Old–Fashion Sexism Scale, and rape scenarios and questions in which they evaluating participants
identification with either the victim or the assailant (12p.242) This study was not alone in using the Illinois Rape Myth Acceptance Scale as measure.
In fact, of the research reviewed seven other studies utilized the scale in addition to the research done at

The Purpose
Love is said to be the greatest human experience in which mankind are privilege to partake in. To love can be a wondrous experience filling life with
bliss and other strong emotions. Some people believe to love is to be alive and be able to see the good in the world and others. The purpose of this
paper is to examine and find a better understanding of what is love, to explore what people believe love to be, and what lies surround the perception
of love and to explore and expose what the meaning true love is or at the very least the authors understanding of the perception of love. In addition to
exploring the concept, deception and the truth of love,...show more content...
Unlike Eros love that is solely based on a strong emotion and only being shown the good quality of each person, Philos love is based on a "give and
take" where two people benefit mutually in varies way from each other. Being giving and taking equally is important in this type of love, and the
concern that each partner is benefiting is essential to each partner. It can be statement in truth that Philos love is a higher type of love then Eros, where
love is not just based on a strong emotion experienced before the understanding and appreciation of both partners that is gained from the pervious and
continuing friendship.
Agape (Unconditional Love)
Agape love is a more technical term for the unconditional love. Agape is the highest form of love placed above Eros and Philos. This type of love
is completely selfless; it is a love that is given without conditional and no benefits. When a person loves someone even when the love is not return
to him or her, yet that love continues. A mother's love is often described as this type of love. This is personally true. A mother will love her child
and does everything within her power to help, nurture, protect and provide for her child, even if her child is unruly and behaves badly toward her. A
child's love for a parent can be very

Exploratory Observation
The goal of this exploratory research was to uncover students' idea of productivity. I wanted to have a better understanding of what my students thought
was a good use or a bad use of their time. To better understand my students, I held discussions, administered surveys, conducted interviews, and
recorded personal observations. Both Lancaster (2009) and Betz & Kayser (2017) conducted research that mainly looked at students' opinions on their
day–to–day school lives. Betz and Kayser's (2017) research emphasized the lack of children input in a research setting and how important it is to gain
their perspective. However, collecting the children's perspective is not to then compare it with the responses of adults; it is solely to have the perspective

Exploratory Case Study
Research Design
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to explain and explore the experience and perception of a group of at– risk East Baton Rouge Parish School District
students at Scotlandville Magnet High School who are utilizing the online credit recovery program Edgenuity in lieu of an elective course during the
regular school day implemented as an intervention method in an effort to be placed with their graduation cohort. In 2015, Tetnowski, noted that
"Exploratory case studies seek to establish a deeper understanding of a phenomenon and are particularly useful when there is minimal preliminary
research to inform and guide the research" (p. 40). Taylor and Thomas, (2015) noted the "Exploratory approach enables the researcher to understand
more about a particular problem or situation" (p....show more content...
"Qualitative research is a way of knowing and learning about different experiences from the perspective of the individual" (Vishnevsky & Beanlands,
2004, p. 234). The study will offer the students an opportunity to express their opinions about their overall experience with the program and give
feedback which will include receiving minimal instruction from the teacher, the effectiveness of the program, and if it has benefited them versus taking
repeat classes in a traditional classroom setting. The participants were selected because they are enrolled in the same school district, same school, and
same intervention program. "Case study research allows the researcher to explore the phenomenon under investigation from a variety of perspectives to
gain an in–depth, balanced picture of that phenomenon" (Taylor & Gregory, 2015, p. 37). Being able to interview all students enrolled in the program
will allow me to gather a variation of viewpoints.
The following research questions will aid in the case study

Exploratory Questions
1) You are in the midst of the first interview with Mr. K., a recently divorced 55–year–old man. You have introduced yourself and have addressed the
other aspects of the beginning phase of practice. You are now ready for an initial exploratory question. At this point, you know only that Mr. K.'s
concern relates in some way to the divorce. Therefore, you want to encourage him to explore that topic in depth. Write the words you would say in
asking this first question. Once written, specify whether the question is open– or closed–ended. Outline your rationale for choosing this particular
question and anticipate how Mr. K. might respond.
Mr. K can you please describe your relationship with you ex wife to me please?
Mr. K please describe your thoughts about for your future plans?
The question that I selected was open ended. My question is opened ended because I am asking my client to explore something. My rational for
choosing this question was because I did not want to come off as blaming Mr. K for anything. The test was very clear about that. I could have asked
something such as why did you divorce your wife? This question could cause my client to get angry because he may or may not have filed for
divorce. Therefore since I was dealing with a sensitive topic I thought that it was better to ask him to describe the...show more content...

Exploratory Research Essay
The purpose of this study is to determine whether socioeconomic status impedes the cognitive development of African American boys' literacy in
schools. This is a quantitative research study using an exploratory research design. This design will show how socioeconomic status correlates with
poverty, lack of parental involvement, and environmental factors. The researcher will use snowball sampling to gain participants from a referral from
an initial participant from this survey. The survey will be given to 20 participants at the City View Apartments in the West Blvd neighborhood
community; that will have closed ended questions for desired results of this research. All responses will be confidential and used solely for the purpose
of this study.
Study Description The effects of low Socioeconomic Status (SES) on African American children can be detrimental to their cognitive development.
Some government programs such as Head Start and No Child Left Behind Act was enacted to assist with the disparities in the achievement gap that is
affecting low income students. However, African American boys' that are in a low SES are at a much greater risk than their counterparts. According to

parents, and environment play a role in a child's cognitive development. Data was collected using the snow ball sampling method. The first 10
participants were located by word of mouth in the community. The next 10 participants were referrals given to me by the previous participants who are
a part of the same target population. The snowball sampling method is a non–probability sampling technique where existing study subjects recruit future

The purpose of this research is to extend the understanding about the willingness of educated or non–educated participate in social contacts of varying
degrees of closeness with members of diverse social groups, such as racial and ethnic groups. The culture of a selfish society taking over and "love
your neighbor" dying a painfully slow death? Every time I leave my house and walk or drive in public, im amazed at the attitudes of some people.
Theirs is so much aggression around that it's scary to open your mouth, even to defend yourself. That's when I decided to put together a survey to see
how people really feel about their fellow stranger. The scale attempts to measure respondents' degree of warmth, intimacy, indifference, or hostility to

It is natural or normal that the strong survived at the cost if weak. In my survey I will look that how educated people might look at other social

cases because there little or no understanding. Although research has been close to this subject nothing exact. I will use exploratory literature
research to gain/discover insights about this situation. When the goal of the literature is to precisely formulate problems, clear concepts, gain
insights, eliminate impractical ideas and form hypotheses then exploratory research is used. Another method I will be using is Quantitative data in a
survey. This is data are anything that can be expressed as a number, or quantified. Examples of quantitative data are scores on achievement tests,
number of hours of study, or weight of a subject. These data may be represented by ordinal, interval or ratio scales. In my survey there will be no
physical or psychological rick involved in you're responding to the survey. You should understand that your compliance in this research is completely
voluntary. All of your responses will be completely confidential. The date will retained for a period of three years after the study is

Exploratory Talk Essay
How can teachers use exploratory talk to support the development of reading comprehension? Use examples from the fiction books to illustrate key
points.
Barnes (2008) tells us that children will not use exploratory talk unless they have a strong understanding about what it is and are not afraid that they
will be offended too much by how others criticise them. This is useful for teachers attempting to use exploratory talk in the classroom because it'll
make them more aware of children being overly aggressive with feedback or children not participating in the talk. Mercer (2008) can further this by
saying that rules are important to have in place when using exploratory talk. This will eliminate any risk of quieter children being left behind...show

Within their table groups which had been set up deliberately by the teacher to get children with similar reading levels together, the children had to
explore different features of the book. One group would work on questions they wanted to ask the characters, another would take in turns to read the
book and highlight words they did not understand or had trouble reading. Tennant (2014: 165) tells us that the text used during guided reading should
be challenging but the children should still be capable of decoding it. I observed this to be true during my school placement because the children were
able to show a wide understanding of what was happening within the book however when they were asked questions about how the character was
feeling or what they think would happen next, they took a bit more time to try and get an understanding of this. Tennant (2016) states that "the
teacher's task is to deepen the reader's understanding of the text by initially ascertaining what sense the reader has made of the text just after having
read it". Tennant's statement can be evaluated as useful for teaching a good level of guided reading because teachers have to broaden the children's
knowledge of the text. My own observations seemed to be a success because each group was paired with an adult and each adult was drawing out
information from pupils by asking questions that got them thinking. Not only were they getting an idea of what children already knew about the text
but they

A study conducted at James Madison University gathered their findings from a participant pool at their university using the Illinois Rape Myth Acceptance Scale, the Modern and Old–Fashion Sexism Scale, and rape scenarios and questions in which they evaluating participants identification with either the victim or the assailant (12p.242) This study was not alone in using the Illinois Rape Myth Acceptance Scale as measure. • 5. Love: an Exploratory Paper Love: An Exploratory Paper Leanna M. Benny July 25th, 2011 The Purpose Love is said to be the greatest human experience in which mankind are privilege to partake in. To love can be a wondrous experience filling life with bliss and other strong emotions. Some people believe to love is to be alive and be able to see the good in the world and others. The purpose of this paper is to examine and find a better understanding of what is love, to explore what people believe love to be, and what lies surround the perception of love and to explore and expose what the meaning true love is or at the very least the authors understanding of the perception of love. In addition to exploring the concept, deception and the truth of love,...show more content... Unlike Eros love that is solely based on a strong emotion and only being shown the good quality of each person, Philos love is based on a "give and take" where two people benefit mutually in varies way from each other. Being giving and taking equally is important in this type of love, and the concern that each partner is benefiting is essential to each partner. It can be statement in truth that Philos love is a higher type of love then Eros, where love is not just based on a strong emotion experienced before the understanding and appreciation of both partners that is gained from the pervious and continuing friendship. Agape (Unconditional Love) Agape love is a more technical term for the unconditional love. Agape is the highest form of love placed above Eros and Philos. This type of love is completely selfless; it is a love that is given without conditional and no benefits. When a person loves someone even when the love is not return to him or her, yet that love continues. A mother's love is often described as this type of love. This is personally true. A mother will love her child and does everything within her power to help, nurture, protect and provide for her child, even if her child is unruly and behaves badly toward her. A child's love for a parent can be very

  • 7. Exploratory Observation The goal of this exploratory research was to uncover students' idea of productivity. I wanted to have a better understanding of what my students thought was a good use or a bad use of their time. To better understand my students, I held discussions, administered surveys, conducted interviews, and recorded personal observations. Both Lancaster (2009) and Betz & Kayser (2017) conducted research that mainly looked at students' opinions on their day–to–day school lives. Betz and Kayser's (2017) research emphasized the lack of children input in a research setting and how important it is to gain their perspective. However, collecting the children's perspective is not to then compare it with the responses of adults; it is solely to have the perspective Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Exploratory Case Study Research Design Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain and explore the experience and perception of a group of at– risk East Baton Rouge Parish School District students at Scotlandville Magnet High School who are utilizing the online credit recovery program Edgenuity in lieu of an elective course during the regular school day implemented as an intervention method in an effort to be placed with their graduation cohort. In 2015, Tetnowski, noted that "Exploratory case studies seek to establish a deeper understanding of a phenomenon and are particularly useful when there is minimal preliminary research to inform and guide the research" (p. 40). "Qualitative research is a way of knowing and learning about different experiences from the perspective of the individual" (Vishnevsky & Beanlands, 2004, p. 234). The study will offer the students an opportunity to express their opinions about their overall experience with the program and give feedback which will include receiving minimal instruction from the teacher, the effectiveness of the program, and if it has benefited them versus taking repeat classes in a traditional classroom setting. The participants were selected because they are enrolled in the same school district, same school, and same intervention program. "Case study research allows the researcher to explore the phenomenon under investigation from a variety of perspectives to gain an in–depth, balanced picture of that phenomenon" (Taylor & Gregory, 2015, p. 37). • 9. Exploratory Questions 1) You are in the midst of the first interview with Mr. K., a recently divorced 55–year–old man. You have introduced yourself and have addressed the other aspects of the beginning phase of practice. You are now ready for an initial exploratory question. At this point, you know only that Mr. K.'s concern relates in some way to the divorce. Therefore, you want to encourage him to explore that topic in depth. Write the words you would say in asking this first question. Once written, specify whether the question is open– or closed–ended. Outline your rationale for choosing this particular question and anticipate how Mr. K. might respond. Mr. K can you please describe your relationship with you ex wife to me please? Mr. K please describe your thoughts about for your future plans? The question that I selected was open ended. My question is opened ended because I am asking my client to explore something. My rational for choosing this question was because I did not want to come off as blaming Mr. K for anything. The test was very clear about that. I could have asked something such as why did you divorce your wife? This question could cause my client to get angry because he may or may not have filed for divorce. Therefore since I was dealing with a sensitive topic I thought that it was better to ask him to describe the...show more content... • 10. Exploratory Research Essay The purpose of this study is to determine whether socioeconomic status impedes the cognitive development of African American boys' literacy in schools. This is a quantitative research study using an exploratory research design. This design will show how socioeconomic status correlates with poverty, lack of parental involvement, and environmental factors. The researcher will use snowball sampling to gain participants from a referral from an initial participant from this survey. The survey will be given to 20 participants at the City View Apartments in the West Blvd neighborhood community; that will have closed ended questions for desired results of this research. All responses will be confidential and used solely for the purpose of this study. Study Description The effects of low Socioeconomic Status (SES) on African American children can be detrimental to their cognitive development. Some government programs such as Head Start and No Child Left Behind Act was enacted to assist with the disparities in the achievement gap that is affecting low income students. However, African American boys' that are in a low SES are at a much greater risk than their counterparts. According to The United Way...show more content... • 12. Exploratory Talk Essay How can teachers use exploratory talk to support the development of reading comprehension? Use examples from the fiction books to illustrate key points. Barnes (2008) tells us that children will not use exploratory talk unless they have a strong understanding about what it is and are not afraid that they will be offended too much by how others criticise them. This is useful for teachers attempting to use exploratory talk in the classroom because it'll make them more aware of children being overly aggressive with feedback or children not participating in the talk. Mercer (2008) can further this by saying that rules are important to have in place when using exploratory talk. This will eliminate any risk of quieter children being left behind...show more content... Within their table groups which had been set up deliberately by the teacher to get children with similar reading levels together, the children had to explore different features of the book. One group would work on questions they wanted to ask the characters, another would take in turns to read the book and highlight words they did not understand or had trouble reading. Tennant (2014: 165) tells us that the text used during guided reading should be challenging but the children should still be capable of decoding it. I observed this to be true during my school placement because the children were able to show a wide understanding of what was happening within the book however when they were asked questions about how the character was feeling or what they think would happen next, they took a bit more time to try and get an understanding of this. Tennant (2016) states that "the teacher's task is to deepen the reader's understanding of the text by initially ascertaining what sense the reader has made of the text just after having read it". Tennant's statement can be evaluated as useful for teaching a good level of guided reading because teachers have to broaden the children's knowledge of the text. My own observations seemed to be a success because each group was paired with an adult and each adult was drawing out information from pupils by asking questions that got them thinking. Not only were they getting an idea of what children already knew about the text but they Get more content on HelpWriting.net
