THE CHALLENGE IS TO DESIGN AND
DEVELOP A ROBOT FOR FAÇADE
CLEANING.FAÇADE IS A FRENCH
ORIGIN WORD MEANING THE FRONT
FACE. THE USE OF GLASS IN THE
EXTERIOR FACADES PROVIDED
MORE LIGHT AND GOOD AMBIENCE
TO THE OCCUPANT OF THE
BUILDING WHICH GAVE RISE TO
THE INCREASING USE OF GLASS.
FORM THE ARCHITECTURAL POINT
OF VIEW THE USE OF GLASS GAVE
AESTHETIC VIEW TO THE BUILDING
ITSELF.HOWEVER, CLEANING A
FAÇADE IS A RISKY AND DIFFICULT
JOB. HENCE, A ROBOT THAT
SHOULD BE ABLE TO CLEAN THE
FAÇADE WILL BE MORE
PREFARABLE AS COMPARED TO
RISKING A HUMAN LIFE.

4. Selection Procedure
IN THE SELECTION PROCEDURE FIRST YOU HAVE TO REGISTER AND
SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT IDEA WITH COMPLETE WORKING DESIGN AND
CODE VIA THE UPLOAD PROJECT SECTION. FOR THIS YOU CAN CREATE A
TEAM OF UPTO A MAXIMUM OF 4 MEMBERS. YOU WILL HAVE TO UPLOAD
THE DETAILS BY 9TH AUGUST 2020, FAILING WHICH YOU WILL BE
DISQUALIFIED. TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN A SLOT FOR INTERVIEW VIA SKYPE
WHERE THEY HAVE TO SHOWCASE THEIR WORKING PROTOTYPE. THE
INTERVIEW WILL BE TAKEN BY A TEAM COMPRISING OF INDUSTRY
EXPERTS FROM SKILANCER SOLAR & THE IOT ACADEMY.

5. Rewards
Top three groups will get
reward money along with
certificates. Others will get
participation certificates.You
may also get internship and
pre-placement offers
from SKILANCER SOLAR,
which will depend on your
skills & knowledge
irrespective of your team's
performance. However it will
only be extended to deserving
