1. Myopia
Reflection
In anatomy and physiology I was learning about the human eyeballs
and vision pathology’s , the vision pathology that caught my attention
was myopia not only because myopia occurs in many people that live in
the united states but also because I too suffer from blurred vision I
don’t have myopia but I do wear glasses. The difficult part of this
assignment was finding pictures for my power point on myopia but I did
my research and found my pictures and my power point came out
actually better than I thought it would. The most interesting thing that
caught my eye was when I found out that nearsightedness affects
nearly 30 percent of the U.S population. That information will stick with
me for many years due to the fact that nearsightedness runs in my
family. I could have made an activity sheet to make this assignment
exceptionally better and my teacher could have made me take a survey
to see how many people out of 20 people suffers from myopia to make
this assignment not only more interesting but also more challenging.
