Today the idea of the nuclear family being normal has changed. It is now common to see the mixture of two families connected by a second or
subsequent marriage, with one or both partners having children from prior relationships, thereby creating half siblings. Prior to the advent of no–fault

Divorce is a major adjustment for everyone. Kids sometimes have a harder time post–divorce than their parents do. Then there's the added challenge of
helping stepchildren feel at home. For some, it can seem like a daunting, if not impossible, task. What can you do to minimize the stress associated with

The number of blended families is increasing in modern society. In fact, over 100 million Americans are members of a blended family (Kreider). A
blended family is a family consisting of two parents that bring together children from their current and previous marriages. One or both parents then
become a stepparent to the children of their significant other. As thisfamily dynamic increases in modern society, many doubts arise regarding the
functionality and longevity of this family structure. Often times, people enter this new relationship with perceptions from the media or society that
lead them to believe this type of family is unable to endure.

conversations with fellow adult learners about how class work felt like it was filler. As a group we provided follow–up feedback to the institution that
they consider additional technologies and recourses that could fulfill the educational requirement but allow the student to learn at home. We
frequently commented on how the class work could have been easily cut down to 2 hours of meaty material vs. 8 hours of fluff. However, I
personally enjoyed the camaraderie and networking of meeting my cohorts. Here at Framingham I feel I found a program that has given me the best

negative manner in which technology is used, student's academic dishonesty, that has been the driving force behind my institutions need to change our
placement testing process. This change was initially prompted by the testing process used for distance learning students, yet needed to be reevaluated
