The Pitch offers filmmakers the opportunity to pitch documentary projects to commissioning editors. Projects must have between 25-75% financing secured. Pitch sessions are 7 minutes with an 8 minute Q&A, allowing editors to discuss the project. Two moderators help advance discussions to generate financing pledges. Presenters have one-on-one meetings with interested editors arranged by the forum.

Offers the opportunity to pitch projects to an audience of
leading commissioning editors.
• Limited to projects with between 25% and 75% of their
financing in place.
• Projects should preferably be presented with a trailer
(max. three minutes) and supported by a commissioning
editor or other financier.
• Each pitch takes seven minutes and is followed by an
eight-minute question-and-answer session, during which
the commissioning editors discuss the project with the
producer and the broadcaster and/or financier committed
to the film.
• Two moderators to advance post-pitch discussion to
stimulate finance pledges.
• Each project will have one-on-one meetings with
commissioning editors interested in your project,
arranged by the Forum staff.

學生做project、廣告公司賣橋、新產品發佈......當你擁有一個構
想或產品，希望同學、老師、老闆或客戶buy你時，往往需要
presentation。同樣地，當紀錄片工作者發現故事或拍攝題材，
希望得到投資者或專業意見的支持以完成影片時，就需要提案
（pitching）。
提案（pitching）過程主要包括三大環節：
1）講故事：介紹人物、故事與矛盾衝突
2）片花播放：通過影像展示你想講的故事
3）問答環節：讓評審進一步了解影片和導演

what you are doing that have been funded

complete the project
