Assessments?
A careful examination of
what, in your work, could
cause harm to people.
The aim is to make sure no
one gets hurt or becomes ill.

them?
So that no one is hurt or becomes ill.

Ignore the trivial and concentrate on
significant hazards
7. What is a HAZARD?
Anything with the potential
to cause harm.

The likelihood of the harm
being realised.

Step 1 Look for the hazards
Involve employees and safety reps
