A “hazardous area of sediment discharge” is an area where a disaster can result from mudflows if it heavily rains to
crumble a mountain.
Sakigake and Hokumei are located at the end of such an area.

A river is muddy and driftwood is observed. Water level of the river lowers while it keeps on
raining. Mountains or the earth rumbles.

Prepare for evacuation. People that require support early must start evacuation.
Evacuation advisory:
Start preparation with your emergency bag. Be careful to flooded areas in your evacuation route.
Evacuation order (Emergency): People must evacuate immediately.
Kanazawa City provides public announcement using a wireless-activated disaster warning system.
However, you may not catch it because of interference by wind and rain. So, please register alert mail
service by Kanazawa City for Tagami District.
Alerting information of landslide disaster will be announced via TV or radio broadcasting if
the possibility of landslide disaster becomes high.

Evacuation
If evacuation advisory or order is given or if you feel hazardous, confirm the
circumstances, and evacuate to a safe place by yourself while cooperating with other residents.
If evacuation to outside the dormitory is difficult, go to the upper floors of the building that is farthest from
the slope, that is opposite side of the slope.
Japanese residents must positively share information.
Check your evacuation area and evacuation routes on a routine basis.
